Spirits laid bare
all secrets revealed
Quiet rustle of silken sheets
Exposed vulnerability
to the lovers caress
Hearts pound in the thrall
of warm expectancy
Time slows; freezes
In the stillness before
the first touch
A breath is held
Your fingertips make contact
with smooth skin
trail gently across
the places you know so well
Intensity sweeps over me
The peals of unbridled laughter
Tensions fade away
And for a few precious moments
the cold unloving world goes away
And heaven is made real
from the dreams of mortals

-(Static Coalescence)-

Thanks!

Thanks alot.
It was a sudden inspiration and I have actually developed a
graphical wallpaper theme around the poem. If anyone would
like to see I suppose I could attach it after compressing it to reduce the size a bit.
Anyway I appreciate you reading the poem. 😉
