tickle talk on voice chats

hey, i've been on voice chats for some time and i love talking to women about tickling and hear what they had to say. I was wondering, i don't know if this is morally right or not, just seeing if ppl are interested in talking to women on these voice chats about tickling and then taping what they say. kinda harmless i would think. and then others can hear it if they wanted to. what do you all think? completly wrong? or good idea? i'm torn.

There are anti-wiretap laws in most states that make it a crime to tape people's phone calls without their permission. Linda Tripp was prosecuted for this in Maryland for taping her calls with Monica Lewinsky (although it was a politically-motivated prosecution and the case went nowhere). I would imagine the same laws apply to voice chats on the Internet.

I have noticed a disturbing trend among some Forum members lately to suggest some activities that are either illegal or morally and ethically questionable, to say the least. While tickling is a fun and stimulating activity, I would recommend that people think objectively about such suggestions before they get themselves and this Forum into serious trouble. 😎

k thanks everyone, i had no idea that it was illigal, i guess i won't do that then, it's not worth the risk, besides, i wouldn't want someone taping my convos so i guess it would be the right thing just not to do it.

Recording is legal ONLY if you have the explicit permission of the other party. Without permission, it's a crime.

I believe the latest law is that, with a recorded phone conversation, only one person needs to know the conversation is being recorded (this is, of course, usually the person who started the conversation, I.E., the one who is doing the recording). If the conversation is to be broadcast, then both (or, all parties involved) have to give permission.

Don't know where recording off the Internet fall, legally, since to my knowledge such a thing hasn't been tested in court yet.

I think if you are recording conversations for your own use, I see no problem with it. You've already been a party to the conversation - why not enjoy it again if it was so much fun the 1st time? Keeping it at home, no one gets hurt.

If you want the conversations to be heard by others, that's something else. Still, if the person you talk to gives you permission, then it's probably o.k. I still have an audio tape from 1985, when I had just graduated from High School, of conversations a guy had with women about tickling over the phone. I haven't raped or blackmailed anyone yet.

I was just wondering, where ARE these voice chats? I've never had the chance to try one out. Now recording conversations would be morally wrong, but I'd still like to get the chance to chat with other women about tickling on a voice chat. Please reply and let me know how you do this. Thanks

I have studied law within the past 6 months, so I can pretty confidently verify the validity of Oddjob's claims here. The two most important things to keep in mind for recording laws are the following: 1) they are state laws, which means the specific rules governing consent (partial = one party, or full = both parties) are going to vary depending on which part of the country said taping is taking place, and 2) as Oddjob alluded to earlier, the Internet is a very new medium, especially where the law is concerned (look no further than the Napster/Scour/Audiogalaxy/et. al music and movie copyrighting scandals for proof of that). Not unlike James Spader's creepy-cool videologist in Sex, Lies, and Videotape, if you are just taping things to play in the own privacy of your home for your listening purposes (whatever those *ahem* may be), the precedent has been set that you are more or less going to be protected under the law. But if you start posting those files on public venues (or even sharing them with especially "mouthy" friends), be prepared to back up your claim that the recording does not justifiably harm the other person's right to privacy.

to those who wanted to know, the voice chat i use is paltalk, it's really good but i have not found any women into tickling, i just talk to normal women about it but i will warn you, sometimes they just don't like talking about it after a while, so i'd be careful, i think yahoo has voice chat too. also, i haven't actually done any recording yet, and as i hear the feedback i don't think i will, it's really not worth it and i'd rather just have fun on hte atual chat room

Yeah, both the yahoo chatrooms and yahoo messenger have voice chat. you can also use your web cam on there now, like on Paltalk (which I like as well) ....but I haven't really figured out how to set up my camera for the yahoo one. Oh well, the picture quality of my web cam sucks anyway. lol 😛
