With several thousand threads already up, someone's likely already posted this before, but still here goes:

Are there any particular songs or types of music that you like to listen to that get you and your tickle-partner into the mood/set the pace/et al.? Are they the same tunes you might listen to to set the usual lovin' mood?

I was tied in a standing spread-eagle one time and my owner and a Mistress-In Training started tickling me from each side to K.C. & The Sunshine Band's "Get Down Tonite". It drove me crazy `cause I couldn't help but "do a little dance" as the song goes. Doesn't help that I hate disco music.

Some music that springs to mind as possibly being apropo is: "Flight of the Bumbleebee" or "The Wm. Tell Overture". Any other thoughts on this?

One of the guys I played with put on "I'm a Sole Man". LOL

I started laughing as soon as I heard it!

anything by the beach boys.

but flight of the bumble bee, and william tell oveture are both good choices too. let's not forget bollaro, by revell.

Hah!

"Sole Man" would have me laughing, too, QB!
The Beach Boys would be awesome, too, Areenactor! Ever heard that song off the Surf's Up album, "Take Good Care of Your Feet"? That would be a scream(literally) to have that on while either giving or recieving.

depends what kind of play I am doing. If it's with friends, then it's either TV background, or the normal music I listen to (which is most kinds of music). But if it is more intimate, then it is usually without music, or something rather quick paced.

how about Tonights the Night by Rod Stewart...

Tonights the night...its gonna be alright...

I'm surprised I beat someone to posting on this one...

My personal, all-time favorite Tickle Tune is Rachmaninoff "Rhapsody" On a Theme from Paganini Opera 43, otherwise known as the theme from the movie, "Somewhere In Time". There's also John Mayer's "Your Body Is A Wonderland", Louis Armstrong's "Kiss To Build A Dream On", A-Ha's "Take On Me", oh hell, I could go on and on and on. But recently, I've just been absolutely jonesing to tickle to Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing"... didja know that the Carnegie Hall version is over thirteen minutes long?

How about

I like the way you do the things you do.

was playing today and it is perfect...a bit of a regee beat

Classical Guitar

Some Bach solo classical guitar would be interesting. "Air guitaring" some classical fingerings to the music on a ticklish waistline might be fun... >🙂

It used to be nothing in particular, but one day I was listening to "Blue Rondo a la Turk" and PRESTO! Anything with a Dave Brubeck solo really. The syncopation and humor Thelonius Monk's runs too. At times, certain Gypsy, Middle Eastern or Indian tunes make me think of feathers dancing. And last, Janet Jackson's the "Pleasure Principle"... there's a verse in it that I always thought sounds like she's saying "it tickled right... " *shudder*

Oh.. Prince's "If I Was Your Girlfriend", there's a rap where he says "would you let me tickle you so hard you'd laugh and laugh..."

And for a sick twist on the theme...

...what if a ler strapped a set of headphones onto a lee and forced them to listen to one of those ambient nature tapes like a bubbling brook or a rain storm. Alternately, the ler might make them listen to a laugh-track. I know, I know...I really should seek therapy---oh wait! I'm a doctor! Thus, I'll self-perscribe another beer!🙄

No question in my mind...

Who here has listened to the lyrics of Journey's "Any Way You Want It" and had.... thoughts?

I know I have.

I agree, as well as some lyrics from "Girl Can't Help It":
Girl can't help it,
She needs more!

over thirteen minutes long? hhmmm... you don’t say... 😉

I have a lonnnng list of songs that make me think of tickling and I am absolutely convinced that there must have been something ticklish going on in the minds of the lyricists when they wrote them. (and don’t try to reason with me. I am perfectly happy w/ my delusions! lol)

Ben Harper/Eddie Vedder - Throw Your Arms Around Me.

John Mayer - Your Body Is A Wonderland

Lenny Kravitz - Once You Dig In 🙂D lol )

Dave Mathews - 90% of the songs he sings (that one might just be me)

How bout...

Blondie....one way...or another...I'm gonna find ya...I'm gonna gitcha gitcha gitcha gitcha one way...or another. I use to actually think about tickling when I heard that.

Or... The Pretenders Make you want me... Gonna use my arms, gonna use my legs Gonna use my style, gonna use my sidestep Gonna use my fingers, gonna use my my my imagination

Tell me that doesn't remind you of tickling???
