The thing is that the human brain predicts your next move when you touch yourself , there's no surprise in it, even if you were to close your eyes and concentrate on trying to make it random, it still wouldn't present no effect, unless you're insanely ticklish! lol
Tickling purely depends on not knowing where someone's going to touch you, or the pattern they move by...

if u lightly move your finger on the top part in side of your mouth or use your tongue just lightly move them it will tickle lol

Apparently if you wake yourself up from deep sleep, then not all necessary parts of your brain have woken up, it is possible...

Someone should set an alarm clock for 3 in the morning to try it and let us all know! I would do it but i like sleep too much.

Apparently people with schizophrenia can tickle themselves cause their brain cant tell one thing from another (also why they think they can hear voices in their heads)
Everybody talks to themselves in their head, just thinking, but people with schizophrenia think the voices are somebody talking TO them. The brain cant seperate one themselves from another, thus, some can tickle themselves 😀
