Most of what The Inner Jamie said. It is possible to go for a deliberately distorted style (chibi or cartoon), but if so one needs to get across a convincing "I meant to do that." To a large extent, its a matter of "knowing what the rules are before you break them."
Even for a distorted style, I think the feet need to be bigger. You also need to give the illusion of depth somehow, that the feet are a legs-length closer to us than the rest of the body.
My advice is first: Keep drawing! Everyone says this, because it is good advice.
Second, look for some tutorials on body-proportions. There are free ones on-line, or if you are willing to spend a little money my recommendation is Jack Hamm's
Drawing the Head and Figure
Or for a very short version: An "ideal" body is eight head-heights tall. A foot is as long as a head, and a hand is as long as a face, or 3/4th a head. (And one common mistake you
didn't make: eyes don't go at the top of the head, but half-way down, in the middle of it.)
And since you mentioned the feet needing improvement, I've attached a quick toe tutorial I recently threw together.
