Tickling opportunities in my daily quest are rare, but today I had a Golden Opportunity and took advantage of it. I stopped in at the local Irish Pub. There is a waitress there I'm fond of who has an infectious personality and I love to hear her laugh. She laughs often. No sooner had I pulled up a stool at the bar, someone punched me from behind on my left shoulder blade. I glance to my left and of course saw no one. Glancing to my right, there was the waitress, walking away briskly, laughing, as she turned her head towards me. In the course of my Jack Daniels Plight, she repeated this game four more times. I paid my tab and was walking towards the door. Opportunity struck! She was standing by the door, her back towards me, unguarded, busy running her mouth to some of her coworkers. Before I exited to the street, I grabbed her ribs from behind and gave her a much deserved tickle. Her reaction, well you had to be there at that moment, but it was so nice. I exited, the last sound I heard was her laughter. I will visit there often.

It certainly beats leaving the usual 15% tip. Of course, "TIPS" is an acronym for "to insure prompt service". (Never mind that the correct word would be "ensure"...but then the acronym would be "TEPS"...but I digress). Since you were at an Irish pub, perhaps a fitting phrase would be "Tickling Irish Pub Servers". 🙄

waitress tickling
nice story. it's always good to hear of people getting a chance for some everyday tickles.
a couple years ago i took my kids to an oriental buffett place. the people were all chineese. our "waitress" was a little older, around late 30's i'd guess, and very attractive. when we left i wanted to give her a tip, as she was nice, smilled a lot, and was teaching the kids some words in mandarin. well she didn't want it at first, so i said you got it anyway (or something like that), and shoved it into her pocket. she jumped, and then disolved into a giggling mass. i couldn't help myself, i had to keep tickling! so i did for several seconds, till her crumpling to the floor forced me to remove my hand.
now that was fun! pockets must have been invented by a tickphile!

I'll back that up, for another reason. It's so wonderfully easy to tickle someone when they've got their hands in their pockets. It takes them at least a few seconds to remove them, and they're so busy squirming away that sometimes it's that much more difficult - it's like they've trapped themselves
