Tickled while Distracted

Have you ever been tickled while doing something else, and your trying not to laugh or show your being tickled but the person is making it super hard? I've had two instances where I've had this happen.

1st: I was at work talking to a very disgruntled customer. I was getting really pissed off with him when i feel a finger lightly tickling my side over and over again. I tried to ignore it and found myself smiling and trying not to laugh while I was on the phone, which made the customer more mad lol. As soon as I got off the phone I yelled at one of my bosses and she gave me another tickle for yelling at her lol.

2nd: My friend from Australia came to the Taste of Chicago a couple of years back. Now she had been tickling me all day and kept doing it at random times. First time she did it, I was taking a picture with her mom and she tickled my side so I would smile for the camera. Second time, we were eating lunch with her parents and I was trying to control my knees being tickled by her as I tried to concentrate on her parents.

so what are you times these type of things have happened?

It's sooo annoying but fun at the same time. :lol Always makes me try to look mad, but that doesn't work well when a tickled grin conflicts with a stern frown - I end up looking like a silly weirdo. Grr! :blush

Something like this happened to me with some friends back in school, while trying to concentrate on a book or some such during lunch or after classes were done. I'd always have my nose in a book, even when "hanging out" with mah posse, and a few of 'em used pokes to my sides as a way of getting my attention. As much as I loved tickling, those moments were a mix of shy embarrassment from my helpless reactions and gritty annoyance at having been torn away from those alluring pages. *sigh* Such a pain...

Another example is with my fiancé - she likes sneaking in a quick tickle when I least expect it, usually when I'm gaming or chatting here at TickleTheater. I guess that's appropriate. xD

Oh yeah....most recently my hubby tickled my foot while we were attending a wedding! I almost died! He later told me, "I could have been much, much meaner, but I decided to take it easy on you."

Sometimes when we're in Walmart Senshi will stand behind me and poke my ribs or tickle my sides, and it just looks like he's pushing my wheelchair. I'm pretty sure it'd be obvious to anyone looking cuz my face is about to catch Fire while I try desperately in vain to keep a straight face :$ <3

Always when I'm on the phone! My hubby tickles my sides if I'm trying to order a pizza or something, or trying to fix a problem with a bill. I'm wiggling and giggling I must sound like a fool!
Sometimes at work when ordering supplies this guy starts tickling my foot. Just enough that I can barely get out the order, then when I hang up he tickles more until I start laughing.

In most cases it's my bf tickling me when I'm on the phone. It suuucks because it's usually my mom just checking up on things or when I'm trying to order food and am forced basically on the floor biting back laughter and snickers.

A girl in retail used to poke my sides while I was on the phone helping people. -_-

A girlfriend used to walk up behind me while I was in ventrillo and grab my sides while I talked to people.

"So you're going to dodge the fireballs raining from the sky, then you're go-- AHAHA FUCK!"

Had a girlfriend who once decided it would be fun to start tickling my foot while I was on the phone to my boss from work. It was maddening; never have I felt so betrayed by my own body (and by my girlfriend).

Come to think of it, also had a friend -- well, a frenemy -- who decided it would be fun to tickle me while I was trying to put on my shirt. Never in human history has anyone ever taken so long to successfully put on a shirt.
