After reading TIB's thread about that cute ticklee girl he found in a Yahoo chat, it reminded me of a past experience. Back about 3 years ago I was single at the time and I thought it would be interesting to place a personal ad in the paper here in St. Louis to try and find a ticklee. With 1.4 million readers, there must be at least one, right? 🙂 I had never done that before, so I didn't know what kind of response I'd get. Well, it ends up I didn't get a response other than one call from a guy asking if I had any luck. I figured if he had the testicular fortitude to call, I should at least tell a tickle brother how it was going, so I did.

I know Yaqi had luck back when he did that stuff, but has anyone else ever had any luck with it? I can't be the only one who's made that attempt in the past 🙂

Uncle Steve

I've tried the personals section on this site, and I've placed one on a yahoo! group, to no avail. No responses at all. I agree. It's hard to believe that, considering the many who probably come across the ad, not one replies. That's the way it is, though. No sense in trying to understand it.

Thats why I have not bothered. I have heard so many people trying and not having any responses at all and at worse having guys hit up on you pretending to be women. I have decided that I think my prospective mate needs to be into tickling at least somewhat. I just feel at this point there is no chance of actually meeting anyone.

I had some luck with the personals, Stevel.

That particular tree of action bore fruit a few times for me.

The first was when I actually answered an ad I saw running in the LA Weekly. This woman listed "intelligence, massages, tickling" as her turn-ons.

I had to investigate. Answered her ad. Soon we were talking on the phone. I told her, "I'm not sure if we're talking about the same kind of tickling here. I'm talking about really really tickling you, as in hysterical laughter. Incessant." She said that's what she was talking about too. This was back in 1997, and it led to my first tied-and-tickled session. Success through ads.

The second time I had luck was when I placed a voice personal ad in this Telepersonals system. My ad was this: "Hello, Ladies. I've got a fun question for you -- where would you say you are the very most ticklish?"

I can't tell you how many responses I got to that question.

Okay, I can tell you -- about 40. It was a gold mine of a question. One answer really intrigued me though. It was this woman who kinda gulped before her reply and said, "Uh, good question. Great question." Then, in a lower voice said, "Just pick a place." Called her back. Turns out she was SO turned on by tickling, she had the fetish as strongly as I did. We dated for a couple of months. To this day, I've never been with a woman who was as turned on by tickling as this girl was. Saying the word sent her reeling. She was cute, and thin of frame. Ticklish all over, for real.

Those voice personals are really the way to go, if you're looking in that direction. I must have spoken with over 15 girls who were curious to get together and try out this new idea of "tickling." Only reason I didn't get together with more of them is because I was in the midst of a mental civil war about whether or not I really wanted to meet girls that way. Ultimately decided it wasn't for me.

Gotta say though, it sure was stimulating introducing the idea to these women, and hearing their interest get piqued.

Did I answer your question? I get sidetracked.

How's it going, Boomtown?

I've gotta say your second story here sounds a mite familiar...

Hey there, Eighty-six! Haven't talked to you in a while! We've got some catching up to do. I'll send you an email.

And yes indeedy, you know exactly who I'm talking about in my second story there, as you've taken her on a date yourself! I'm surprised she's not on this forum, actually.

Eighty-six... say, did you take this name from Get Smart? Looking for a Barbara Feldon type, are you? "Ninety-nine, missed tickling your feet by that much."

"I'm surprised she's not on this forum..."

Hey, she's probably around. Her interest in this is really strong, like you say. We're all hard wired, all of us...

Look forward to hearing from you. No, the 86 ain't from "Get Smart," though that was one cool show. And who among us didn't want to tickle Barbara Feldon?

Hey BoomTown, Demographics ?

You answered his question(s) and raised a whole bunch of questions with me...

1. Age: what was your age at the time of the ad-swamp, and what was the age of the women you were entertaining; i.e., were you after the young ones, the old ones, the middle-aged, or what ?

2. Newness and Novelty factor: how long had those telepersonals been around when you put that ad out ?

3. Billing: how do the telepersonals get paid ? Is it a credit card thing ? Can you set up to pay with real dollars ?

4. Character protection: when do you have to accurately identify yourself (and equally important, when does she) ?

5. Aligned Goals: how do (or did) you focus on the ones who had the same type of goals you did ? e.g., Keeping away from the girls who expect you to fulfill a roll that you'll never successfully handle, while making true connections with girls who are interested in dating for the same reasons you are (or were).

6. Approach: what kind of voice do you have ? What kind of voice did you use ? Did you change your voice for the ad ?

7. Are you sufficiently annoyed with all of these questions, to the point of calling a shrink at random from the yellow pages ?

I've had a bit of success with internet personals in my day. In fact, there's an old thread around here somewhere where I regaled my experiences.

Re: Hey BoomTown, Demographics ?

Okay, P50, I've got my #2 pencil. Here I go.

1) Way back then, a couple of years ago, I was in my late 20's, early 30's. I was seeking same.

2) These telepersonals had been running for a couple of years before I joined, but their system was constantly evolving. When I placed my ad, they were just hitting their heyday.

3) It was a credit card thing. Don't think you can get by with real dollars. It's all over the phone.

4) The anonymity was exactly analogous to the internet. (But, as much as it allows you to hide, it allows others to hide as well. Thus, the all-too-common anonymity-ville horror.)

5) Some people placed their goals or desires in their ads. It wasn't necessary though. You could say whatever you wanted, and my ad was concise and direct: "Ladies, where would you say you are the very most ticklish?" You're required to choose which category your ad would fall under -- Long-Term Relationships, Casual Dating, or Intimate Encounters. The subheadings under Intimate Encounters were D/S, Phone Sex, and Fetishes. Guess where I placed my question. And, like I said, I received dozens of responses from women who wanted to answer my question, and many who wanted me to tell them more about myself.

6) I did not change my voice for the ad. Used my regular old Boomtown voice. Which, by the way, sounds a lot like the Disney character Goofy, but with a Russian accent.

Just kidding. I think I have a friendly sort of voice. A few of the women who responded said they were replying because they liked it.

7) Don't worry about it. Nope, nothing wrong here.

Now don't go out there and be copycat ticklers! Actually, go ahead. I just wanted to use the term "copycat ticklers" in a sentence, cuz it's funny.

How'd I do on the test? Do I get extra credit for making that Stephen King reference? Anyone?

Thanks for the responses 🙂 It sounds like it does work. I guess you have to sift through a bunch of curious girls to get to one who genuinely has a fetish? It's nice to know there are women out there who do have a tickling fetish. It always seems like such a dream 🙂

I've kinda had a little bit of success with a personals site..I used matchdoctor.com ( totally free..not like other "free" sites where it's only free to make your profile/place your ad) And I actually got one response. But I said "kinda" had some success, because she isn't as crazy about tickling as I am. Buuut..I bet once she has me at her mercy ( and me begging while laughing my ass off ...lol...) she'll probably like it. 😉 At least when I asked if what she thought about tickling others/ being tickled, she said it was okay. So, luckily, no " your sick!" reply. lol

We haven't met yet offline...I live a little too far away right now (just drivin to her town from mine would probably take at least half the day. lol ), but once I move closer, I hope we get to have some tickling fun. 😀
