do any of you ever feel tickling is/ or will be implemented in modern times during war to extract information from POW's? If so, in the event there is a draft, can one claim being over-ticklish to be exempted? 😕

no...

No, sadly, it never, ever will be. This is in no way a critique of your question, or anyone else who ever asked that question.

You see, tickling causes laughter. Oh, yeah, Dear Abby and maybe some mean old prudes or religious fundamentalists will bitch about the "cruelty of tickling," but I'm sure every person kidnapped by foreign troops would BEG to be tickled as opposed to the alternative. Tickling will never be used to "tickle someone to death" because it would take too long. Yes, I'm sure if they captured a beautiful woman, and it just so happened EVERYONE in the chain of command where a ticklephile...but there is one GLARING problem with that scenario - Most ticklephiles are nice people. Aside from the very trolls that make the exceptions, (who are probably wusses in real life anyway) most of us are nice, silly, playful people. Go check out any movie news forum or Star Trek forum, and you will see more hatred and venom spewed about some stupid movie in ONE THREAD than you will see in the entire history of the TMF. So, if we caught the beautiful prisoner, and I'm talking REAL LIFE here, most of us would give her a good meal and let her escape....unless she WANTED to be tickled to relieve the stress of war, in that case...

But reality is reality. Read about war. Watch shows about war. Captured prsioners and anyone in that "interrogation" situation is subjected to starvation, verbal or mental cruelty, but usually just plain painful torture. The mafia would rather murder you or cut a body limb off rather than tickle you. List any foreign nation. You think any Islamic country would tickle an American prisoner? Women are treated lower than cows, an annoying impendament to heaven, only useful for producing more suicide bombers, so I doubt they'd be kindly tickled by a feather. The Inquisition would rather have you die in painful ways too horrible to mention here. There's always stories about tickling for torture, but they're only stories. If given the chance for cruelty, people will just become more and more cruel.

Tickling causes laughter. That what sets us apart from the other fetishes. We enjoy hearing laughter. A torturer, or inquisioner, or abusive co-worker for that matter, wants to see people suffer. Religious fundamentalists rarely ...scratch that...NEVER laugh. If they don't laugh, they certainly don't want to hear someone else laugh.

Those scenarios will always be relegated to the various video that frequent this forum. The only real life scenario like that will be a new Real Tickling or Magic Touch or Last Laugh video.

Mabus u said it too right. We are just simply too nice to implenent stuff like that on other people.

sigh:sowrong:

put's feather back in pocket along with other interrogation tools

not so sure......

Imagine a tough spy being captured and reduced to giggling and begging by tickle torture. Since a great portion of interrogation is the EMOTIONAL effect that torture has on a subject, it could work on some. I DO agree that we aren't likely to see it, though.

I think it'd work great because I doubt that spies have anything in their training to help them withstand tickle torture. Getting really silly now, imagine Gilbert & Sullivan... the Lord High Tickle-Torturer 🙂

Tickling has never been used in war but I think the torture aspect of tickling is underrated. Tickling as torture can last for days, weeks, and months. With other forms of torture it can not last for so long because the body can only take so much damage before it dies. Most POWs are just threatened with torture and that becomes psychological torture in its own way.

I think tickling can be used to extract information from anyone. It has just never been done. Maybe people in the millitary are to too embarrased to bring it up even in front of their prisoners.

Picture this: "Ok prisoner you have some information that I need. I am going to...um... ti... tick... um.. torture you until you give it to me."

Now Picture this: "Ok prisoner you have some information that I need." *blindfolds prisoner* "Speek now or suffer" *tickles prisoner*
*not expecting to be tickled prisoner brakes down in minutes and begs for mercy* Prisoner: "haha WHAT ARE DOING HAHAH STOP hahahaha NO TICKLING hahHA I HA WILL hahHa NAHAHVER TELL HAHAHAHA...STOP hahah STOP hahahah STOP HAHAH I'll HHaa Tahahlk"

how about this (and I'm sure MANY have fantasized this matter! 😀 ) if you were assigned the role of an interrogator, would you incorporate tickling as a form of torture to gouge answers (like duh! 😉 ) But how would you approach this, perhaps this thread could also be a story sharing one! thanks! 😉

the problem with tickling as a form of torture is, and I know this is hard for you all to comprehend, but not everyone in the world is ticklish. And you've no way of knowing until you actually tickle them. If it doesn't work, the interrogator loses their advantage. Why take that gamble when you can just shove wires under their fingernails and be guaranteed a result?

Actually there are plenty of ways to torture someone that don't cause damage. A friend of mine was in the military, and he regaled me with stories about this for reasons I don't quite understand.:wow:

If one of you readers should ever happen to become an interrogator (of the torturous kind) for the military during a period of war, I don't think many voluptuous tickling models are going to find their way towards you as POWs holding critical information that necessitates an extraction of great expediency. War is no laughing matter, I might remind you.

Could this be one of those sickening attempts at the perversion of tickling that Yaqi referred to in his so-called offensive rants?

(Did I do well for my first troll?)

a couple of problems

first; who wants to tickle some dirty, half starved iraqi pow?
second; as fast paced as war is today, any info would be out of date in 24hours. so unless that pow was stupidly ticklish, it wouldn't matter.
third; we (america) don't use torture on our pow's. even in ww2 we took the german pows out to dinner once a month to show what nice people we were.
forth; professionals punch. they will some times kick, or use electric wires to the genitals, but mostly they punch. why? cause it's effective!
has anyone else here been through sear training in the military? let me know, ok?

No, because like the others have said, it's unrealistic. But I do like the notion of torturing ticklish beautiful enemy female POW's for no good reason, not to extract information or anything, but just for my pleasure!

My grandfather use to tell me about the Italian Boys from Chicago during WWII. He told me what they used to do to German POWS, after a member of their unit got killed. Let's just say they did not exactly take them out to dinner.

not suprising iggy. you have to realize a couple things there; first these are guys from chicago, and italian decent! of course they're rough! next their buddies were being killed, this kind of sents the tone for front line troops.
i was more refering to the prisoners once they made it back to the u.s.

I haven't posted in awhile so here goes

War is a very strong word. War describes alot of things, and pain is one of them. Tickling doesn't belong in war, exp in our sences. If we had a "POW" in our custidy and we needed to get info out of she/he the first thing on our minds wouldn't be "I wonder if there ticklish." Even if we did use tickling in war, we proably would do it softly we would proably cut into them with our nails... Well thats my two cents.

Thanks...
