I go to this group therapy place where I did inpatient over the summer for an eating disorder and I was the youngest one there. Most of the people there were adults, and I am only 19 so naturally that led to me being tickled a lot. Even though I am 19, I look a lot younger and a lot of adults call me cute and adorable and think that I have a really cute laugh. One day, before group started, I was sitting in the main group therapy room with a couple of my friends and we were just talking about guys, so I mentioned the story of my first kiss (which involved a lot of tickling. Let me know if you guys want to hear the story). They didn't know I was ticklish, so I made sure when I was telling the story that I included a lot of things to make me sound extra ticklish. When I finished telling the story, my friend Betty said, "wow squirrel (That's my nickname because I love to climb trees). You must be really ticklish." I replied by saying, "I am deathly ticklish. You don't even have to touch me and I will burst out laughing." They all looked around at each other and I said, "don't look at me like that... don't you dare tickle me!! I mean it!" But it was too late and I was really excited that my plan worked. My friend Betty sat on my arms and pulled them above my head while my friend Melissa put my ankles into a headlock. My friend Julie sat on my hips, and I was rendered completely helpless, but I was so excited to be tickled half to death! I was a giggling mess before they even started tickling me. I was begging them not to tickle me, and Julie said, "The more you beg, the more we will tickle you." So of course, I continued begging until they started tickling me. Betty started slowly tickling my armpits while Julie pulled up my shirt and tickled my belly and Melissa pulled of my socks and tickled my feet. They barely even started tickling me yet and I was already in tears because it tickled so badly. I was laughing so hard and begging them to stop and the whole time they teased me about how ticklish I am. They would say things like "I figured you were ticklish, but this is insane! You are the most ticklish person I have ever met!" Julie said "Awww, poor baby. Are you ticklish? Good!" before she dug right into my ribs, which are my most ticklish spot along with my feet. I shrieked and tried to thrash around when Julie tickled my ribs, but they all had such a good grip on me there was no way I was escaping. I loved every second of it, but it was also torture and I was waiting for it to be over. Melissa decided to stick her fingers in between my toes to see how I would react and I screamed and laughed so hard when she did that, one of the interns came in to see what was going on. When she walked in I begged her to help me, but she said, "Sorry. I don't know what you're laughing about. I don't see these girls doing anything to you." and she walked away laughing while I was getting tickle tortured. I started falling into silent laughter, so they decided to stop. As soon as I caught my breath, I tried to jump onto Julie to tickle her, but I was outnumbered and Melissa and Betty saved Julie and jumped back into position to tickle me. This time, Melissa was tickling my armpits, Betty was sitting on my hips and tickling my belly, and Julie was sitting on my ankles and tickling my feet. I was screaming and crying and begging them to stop. I was saying, "I'm sorry for trying to tickle you!! Please stoppppp this is torture!!!" But they just kept on tickling me and saying that I deserved it as punishment because I tried to tickle Julie. I kept on begging and Betty said, "You have to learn to respect your elders. We are doing you a favor and giving you the best medicine, laughter. And how do you pay us back? By trying to disrespect Julie? That will not be tolerated here, and for that you must accept your punishment." As she was saying this, she decided to swirl her finger in my bellybutton which made me buck my hips and fall into silent laughter. I had tears streaming down my face as I was getting tickle tortured. Betty decided that my belly had had enough torture, so she decided to start squeezing my hips which made me scream and beg for mercy. I was laughing so loud, my therapist and nutritionist came into the room to see what was going on. They both stood in the doorway and watched me get tickled for a couple minutes before they decided that I had had enough. My therapist decided to save me by calling me in for a session and I was finally saved from the tickle torture. When I finally caught my breath, I went into her office and sat on her couch. She came in behind me and closed the door giggling as sat down in her chair. She looked at me, still giggling, and said, "Wow! You are so ticklish!" I laughed and told her "I can't help it!" After that we had a regular season, but my therapist still likes to bring up the fact that I am ticklish sometimes. I have many more tickle stories from my time in treatment and I still go there twice a week for outpatient treatment, so I am sure that as the community changes, I will continue to get tickled!
