I thought that this would be a good time to really let the members of this forum grow with one another.

I know that some of the members here have been involved in the tickling community since it was basically created.

Please use this thread to post a small (or large if you feel like it) biography of your own accomplishments in the tickling community. Stories you've written, webpages you have created and/or maintained, pictures or videos you have made, magazines, drawings, or research. It is all important to this community. Do not feel as if this is "tooting your own horn," just go with it. It will be a chance for all of us to learn about the tickling community of the past, present, and the future.

Okie dokie...since some of you nice folks are new here I'll step up and allow myself to introduce...myself😉

I joined the online communtiry at AMT in 1998, posting clips and pics that had been culled from all over the place. In 1999 I started my first web page "Tickling4Fun" which had main stream pics and video clips along with true stories from yours truly, Johnny Dollar. [Sorry...I was channelling Stan Freeburg there for a moment]

When the GO! network stopped housing home pages I moved everything to tripod where I maintained a list of ticklish celbrities both male and female, along with the growing warehouse of mainstream pics and stories. When Psycho announced the start up of TMF I moved my celebrity list here. Eventually my tripod site was shut down due to inactivity (I believe) and geocities also delted my files for the same reason. A year or so ago I started collection pictures again and posted them to the MSN group which is in my signature. When that was filled I moved them to my Yahoo! group. The Yahoo group had orignally been created to house mainstream clips, but they were all delted due to space constraints and, unforunately, a purge on my part. We also used to have weekly chats there where literally a couple people would show up every week and let me know what they wanted posted next! Soon all the keeping track of pictures and clips grew to be too much and I decided to stop updates altogether. Now all of my finds (and those sent to me by my lovely friends) and posted directly here.

May I also add that the TMF is the single greatest thing I've encountered on the web (as far as tickling goes)...everything you could ever want and many of the people who have the most influence are all in one place. I appreciate it being here and I appreciate the people who take the time to make it work.

Next?

Hey ToYou444,

Do you know who, or did you, compile the mainstream tickling index(es)? I've always wanted to know!

To the best of my knowledge the first place I saw them was on Tickle Central (the forerunner to Tickle Town) and Simon32(?) was one of the compilers along with ChadPet who had worked on the cartoon lists. The other names escape me at the present time.

Hmmmmm....OK.....

I found the online community shortly after getting online. I got my first computer about 7 years ago. One day, I decided to do a search on tickling and found that there were several sites...Tom, Rock, Jeff and others. Since I had plenty of time while at work to play around with writing, I did a few stories and then decided to throw together a little site of my own in order to share them. I named it the Tickle Chamber because of dreams I'd had of being locked in a chamber and tickled half crazy.

I just kept adding to it as time and desire allowed. We've moved a few times. Some lost track of us for periods of time. But, the site has remained online for the better part of 6 years now. It's now bigger than I'd ever imagined it could get....with dozens of stories and a huge links section for all fetishes/kinks. The links section took a few months of searching all over the place to compile. Now, if only I could finish other things and get some updates done! For those who have never done one, sites can take on a life of their own and tend to suck up a lot of time. But, if you keep it simple and under control, it's not that hard to do.

The best thing to come from my own site was the finding of my wonderful hubby, Drew...who wrote after finding it. I've met several wonderful people because of that site and, more recently, the TMF. Some have become good friends. The online community is a great place of support and sharing of our particular kink. Like any community, there are plenty of differences. But, we share one thing in common and rejoice in that. That's cool!

Well, as most of you know, I'm currently developing a shareware computer game about tickling. It's my first pay project and it's rather ambitious, combining digitized graphics, networking capability for multiplayer, and is really putting my knowledge of Java to the test.

Ok...here is a little. I created "HotelTickle" back in 1998. The idea was to build a tickling site that evolved around a couple and their friends (Suzette and her awesome stories!). We wanted to showcase what we thought were the most authentic and realistic tickling pics on the net so tickling newbies could always enjoy what we already had...and we also did our own original series of F/F, M/F, F/M ...and we had a cartoonist who did toons especially for us. We also specialized in the audio wavs. We liked these because a person could use their imagination and make the ticklee whoever they wanted it to be...not to mention that 90% of our sound files were all original and new!!! We also were involved in getting Gloria Pall to create her "tickle book" and helped her promote it as well as give her ideas.

All in all, I had a great time with the Hotel and made some really great online friends. Towards the end of it all, the Hotel had grown into a very popular hangout for tickle fans, and even recieved a spot on a British Television show "Hankee Pankee." It was an amazing ride.

To all who did not know, I pulled the site because Sexi (my partner in crime) and myself split apart and I felt it was not right to continue it on at that time since it was based around us as a couple. Maybe one day I will bring it back. I have a new partner now who is totally into the tk scene so we shall see. She has made mention a few times that she would like too, so ya never know.

Ok...that's it...LOL

Daddy, I remember Hotel Tickle when it first came out! I was amazed!!!
Great site, and I hope you have the best of luck with your new partner.

That reminds me, I remember an older site mid-late 90's called the Tickling Galaxy, anybody know anything about it. My favorite pic was on that sight at one point!

The Tickling Galaxy was created by Scott, also know as Psycho. Later it became the Tickling Universe I think. His next site was the first incarnation of the TMF.

Wow,

Are you serious, I had no idea it was Scott's site! Well, he may be gone now... but he served faithfully for our community for years. What a guy!

Very good and thought-provoking thread. I would love to think about putting together a memoir.
For me, I started networking in the 70's by putting an ad in the infamous FETISH TIMES newspaper. I was living with my parents at the time and always ran to get the mail before they did.
I think it might be interesting to people in the community for a Biography of the Tickling Community to be compiled. I can contact my friends, many of you know them and we can talk about the days before the Internet. Days of Tobias Hackner and PDD and all of us who used to trade before tickling videos were made. We were compiling mainstream lists (and eventually videos, many of which were custom-made) back in the 80's.
Do you think there would be an interest in reading the origins of our Community which started with a handful of people and grew into empires like TMF, Magic Touch, MTJ PUBLISHING and others?

I think for people in the tickling community, there'd be a great interest in that. I wonder if that'd also get other people besides us to understand why we like the types of tickling all the members read/write/talk about.

Wait, um..you're not just talking about an extra board on here where members can read that stuff, right? Cause I think a book on the history/growth of the Tickling Community would be great. Not only that...but it'd be something , if done well enough ( and not rushed ) could probably lead to other things. ( like maybe something like "Tickling Commnuity's tips for great tickling fun" ...a book about favorite methods, tools and other stuff. lol )

Wow Max,

I would LOVE to see you vetrans really show us who you are. I mean you guys built this place up to what it is today. And I am not just talking about this forum, but about the whole community.

I tell you, if you wrote it, I would definately read it!
