Tickling Book Topic

Hi all! Your friendly neighborhood Tickle-Sadist here with a question. I'm am going to be starting a full length book with tickling as the central theme. Eventually it will be for sale through MTJ. I really want to bring something special to you all, so I'd like to know what you'd like to read. My idea so far is to make it a crime novel, with someone like one of us going off the deep end and a Detective trying to track him down. This is just an idea at this point. I'd like some sort of general concensus, though, about what you'd buy, what would have to be in the book in order to make it worth your while to purchase. All ideas will be considered, from general topics to specific scenes.

A couple things, though. No celebrities or Anime characters, sorry. However I go about this, it's going to be as realistic as possible.

Let me know what you think, because I'd like to do this for YOU, the reader, and hopefully I can make as many people happy as is reasonable.

Oh what a splendid idea!! That would be one book that would be dog-eared and disheveled within a week...LOL

Boy, an entire book? Well, I love all aspects of tickling fiction, so I guess my ideal tickling NOVEL would incorporate all of those aspects into one. Perhaps a ticklephile gone mad since he can not find that special someone to share his love of tickling with, who then kidnaps (or perhaps breaks into homes where a victim is sleeping alone) victims to perform merciless torture on in order to fullfill his desires. Say the detective could also be a ticklephile (of the opposite sex?) who secretly is on the 'Lee side of the table, but has never admitted it to anyone. While chasing down the "mad tickler" so to speak, she keeps having fantasies of being his next victim, visualizing her intensely pleasurable torment at the scene of each crime, trying to reinact (sp?) the attack as it happened. Then at the end, he discovers she is trailing him, and he decides to make her his next victim in order to get her off his trail (which of course is what SHE wants, and so her fantasies come true as well). While torturing her, he realizes she is what he has been looking for all along, and after an excrutiating session, they make wild passionate love and live happily ever after to tickle and be tickled together as one forever and ever....amen.

I know I know....it's corny...LOL. But hey, it was worth a shot, and would make one nifty story! 😀

Hmmm...

Having toyed with the idea of writing a full length or at least novella tickling story before, I can only say that it is vastly harder than I thought it would be! Being a science fiction author in the "real world", my theme revolved around a vampire who was unable to bear the thought of shedding blood and, desperate for sustenance, latched onto the method of absorbing a victims life force through their laughter (I hadn't hashed out all the details yet). 🙂 At any rate, all I really wanted to say was that I know your writing has been phenomonal in the past and I have no doubt that whatever you decide will likely be as excellent as we've come to expect. Best of luck with your project and sign me up for the waiting list to buy a copy. 🙂

More than once I've thought of novelizing the Nylon Dungeon series, so I know how difficult it is to shift your focus. Remember that in a novel, you will probably want to have fewer, not more, actual tickling scenes than in any given collection of stories, as you will want to focus on character development and moving the story along. It will be better to SUGGEST most tickling scenes rather than getting bogged down actually describing them.

I'd love to read a tickling story, let alone a novel! Let's see, some humble suggestions, hopefully not too ordinary:

1) The detective isn't given a lot of help, since most of the other cops see this as more of a nuisance, than a "real" crime, possibly deciding to tickle her as a "prank", led by her secret admirer.

2) A tabloid news reporter hounds the detective, thinking that they're a better investigator, and wind up becoming a victim themselves, maybe even on camera.

3) The detective may get clues by seeing some of the victims on a tickling website, or newsgroup, similar to TMF. ;-)

Daumantas, thanks for the input! I had actually written a few "test" chapters, just seeing if I could imply torture without having to go into detail everytime. There will be many scenes of tickle-torture in the book, but I'm not intending on wasting 15,000 words on "HAHAHAHEEEEEE...OHNOPLEEEASESSTTOOPPPP". There will be enough of it, but I hope people will be happy with the way I'll be describing the scenes, as they will differ somewhat from my regular stories.

I'm 2/3 of the way through a collaboration effort with someone that is titled "FeatherWeights" (nope..it's sci-fi, not what you nasty peeps are thinking...lol!) and its attracting some interest from a screenplay reader...if I ever get my rear in gear and finish, perhaps I could be of some slight assistance in steering this production company towards your project in the future? To bring this to the mainstream would be a HUGE effort, and would require a lot of....tact? But what a legacy it would be for all of us and the TMF!! If you decide to go that way down the road, give me a holler...I'll at least get it read and copyrighted for ya, ok? Q

RE: tickling book topic

Here's a thought: since the culprit is a member of the tickling community gone rouge, why not have the rest of the community band together to stop him before hereallyputs them in a bad light?
You could have the detective, the tabloid tv reporter (love that suggestion!), and the tickling community all looking for this guy, independently of one another. That could give you several points of view to work with.
