Tickling Calandar

OK, this was brought up in General Discussion. So, I thought I'd toss a poll up. I was wondering how much interest there would be in a tickling calendar. You know....kinda like the annual swimsuit clendars and the like. We could do a monthly one that would be hung up or a paperback sized weekly appointment calendar...or both. Obviously, there would need to be a variety.....for guys, for gals, monthly, weekly, foot, upper body, etc. So, what would YOU like to see if we did something like this?

Weekly would be preferable, of course, but the question is if it's actually doable. I'd vote for monthly first and, if there are enough models/pictures available, upgrade my vote to weekly.

Also, wouldn't it be better if there were actually two calendars? One "Guys of the TMF" and one "Girls of the TMF"? That way, nobody has to go EWWW ME NO LIKEY GUYS or AWWW JUST GIRLS DARNIT. Better to please both demographics, innit?

Who's going to model, is the question. well, that's for another thread in the future, I guess.

I'd actually probably do both monthly and weekly...and selections for guys and gals.

I guess the next questions need to be...

- Do we want this to be folks from here (as was the original idea)?
If we did this, we'd have few folks to chose from. We'd also have to consider that many will not want to have their faces shown in public...as is evidenced by the fact that so many have yet to submit member pics.

- Do we want it to be pics from the web?
If we did this, we'd have to get permission to use them. The one I did a few years ago was pics from all over the web. Since it was a personal thing and not for distribution, I didn't worry about permission. But, something for distribution and/or sale would definitely need to have that.

- Do we want pics from folks here AND those from the web?
This could be one way of dealing with the fact that there probably wouldn't be enough folks here willing to share pics to make a weekly calendar. We use what we can get and supplement with some from the producers.

- If we used pics from the web, would we do one with a variety of source material or have a seperate one for each producer?

There are plenty of questions to be asked and answered. I just figured I'd feel out the interest level before moving on anything.

I'd personally vote for actually having Users as models. It'd make the whole thing far cooler.

But if it's doable remains yet to be seen, let's see how many folks would volunteer first.

...is simpatico with my own ideas. It all hinges on whether or not we can get volunteers, of course. Hell, ANYONE could put together a bunch of pics from the net and slap them on a calendar... I was thinking more of the people we'd all really like to see when I brought it up. Let's see who falls when we shake the tree...

I think this is a good idea but I think it would be difficult to get volunteers, there is no way you can keep everyone from sharing this publicly. Me personally I am all for seeing a bunch ticklish hunks on a calendar, put it right by my bedside and dream!! LOL

I'd love to see it be all TMFers as well...tickling or not. But, I doubt that we'd get many folks to be a part of that. The first concern would be their personal privacy.

There's also the fact that we aren't all super models and many would want ONLY those who are their vision of perfect bodies. That's actually why I was considering doing something with producer material as well as a member thing.

Time will tell.

Anybody doesn't like what they see can change the channel. This isn't about bein' easy to look at, it's about havin' something to share with a bunch of folks you care about that you don't get to see nearly as often as you'd like to. But yeah, volunteers will be scarce, I'm sure. Too many bashful-types out there. And twelve months of a furry ol' bear starin' at ya would be a bit much, no matter how much like Adonis he's built... 😛 🙄 😉

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. We might be able to come up with folks from the various gatherings and do a few pics from there...if we have willing participants.

well said TTD, I definitely agree...lets spread the beauty of ticklish parts both male and female...

Another point is for those that are face shy for the camera maybe offering their tootsies, tummies or armpits for the shot. We can then label the picture by screen name. Maybe a page of feet with a collage of female feet - identified, then 1 of male feet, etc

...two calendars, one for the ladies and one for the men. More of a pain in the ass? Absolutely! But how many of us are gonna want to have a same-sex TK pic starin' at us for a month? Assumin' that we get any volunteers at all... people squick at the idea of bein' photo'd at gatherings more often than not. I imagine, though, that given time and enough material to put together, we'd sift through and cobble one together that wouldn't be too hard to deal with for a month at a time. Not like we'll be hanging them up at work or anything, LoL. 😉

Damn good point there, Daniel....I know I would not want to be staring at male tickle parts for a month. Nothing at all wrong with having a calandar for each!

Yeah... it's kinda wierd, I've got mixed sentiments about the idea. Seein' as I'm not set up enough to do any legwork on the idea, it seems kinda presumptuous of me to assume that anyone taking on a project like this would also have the energy to do TWO of them, much less one. Doing one with both sides of the equation represented in it would be a lot easier. But as popular? It's a coin toss on that one. Ah well, guess we'll just have to wait and see! It amazes me that it's gotten this much attention, really! I was sorta half joking when I shared the idea. I saw this ancient calendar in my closet of the San Francisco 49'er cheerleaders (from back in the 80's when I gave a damn about the 49'ers), and I thought to myself, 'damn, wouldn't it be great if instead of the cheesecake shots, thee were candid pics of the gals getting tickled? I know they'd sure sell like hotcakes in the TK family!'... went from there to where we are now. How freakin' cool would it be to have fun shots of the people we know and play with? So yeah, we've still got six months til it's new calendar time! LoL 🙄

another option for doing a calendar...

I got a nota couple of days ago from Jonathan. (For any who may not know, he's from the UK and known to us at NEST.) He's worked with a guy in the UK on other projects for the fetish community. He thought it would be a viable plan to have him arrange for gals to take part in a professional, posed set of images. We'd choose the poses to include. He'd put things together, etc. and we'd have a finished product available for sale. Here's the web site where you can see the type of work we're talking about... Lola Gallery

IF we were to decide to go this route, Jonathan is already doing the legwork to see what the deal would be. I just wanted to give those who are interested a heads up. This is something I may decide to persue and promote even if we did it in addition to something else. Anyone interested?

Hmmm...

That COULD be another way to go, I suppose... be cooler if we had community members eager to do it, but always good to have options, too. Let's see how this pans out!
