I have recently been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (it's a long story) and for those of you that don't know what that is, it's basically a learning disability in social skills. Anyway some people who are classic Autism and Aspberger's Syndrome (which is a form of Autism) have a problem with people touching them because it bothers them for some reason.
I brought this up to a friend who told me that told me that one of the ways to get them over this is too slowly do it by positive reinforcement. For example, you tell them that if you touch them you might give them candy if they like candy. Another way, ironically that you can give them some quick tickles and that eventually could work. Fortunately, I don't have that problem that I don't like people touching me. Just wanted to share that.
