Hey peeps....

I was wondering about chatrooms....why are they, either with no one in them, and when there are people in them...no one talks? I remember TT used to have one, and it is prolly why it got bumped, because no one talked. I am not speaking of cyber tickling, to me...that's lame...I mean as kind of like a meet...there are litterally thousands of members here, some know one another, some know 'of' one another...others, no one really knows...maybe it is preferd, I dunno...I am simply saying...why is it we all have this one main thing in common, but...no one really talks, so how about the chatrooms, or messanger services?

You are correct about the ill-fated Theater Chatroom. There simply was not enough activity to warrant renewing it. The community here is simply not of the chatting variety, or so it seems. For the moment, the TMF chatroom is far and away the king. But, there is a thriving IM community among us. Just look at all the posts with IM invitation in the personals section.

Chatrooms are not a good idea. Not for us. We are the discreet, the quiet, the hush hush crowd. We are the silent types, the listeners, the observant. To the outside world, our main interest is considered an enigma, a figment of the imagination, and brushed off as superstition. We are always in shadows, yet people have us in the back of their minds. They fear and shy away from us. For to them, we are what the world calls weird. Anonymity is our name. Laughter is our game. We are them. We are they. We are the Ticklers in Black.

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself with that post. But really, chatrooms are not what I would call a smashing idea. IMing someone is probably better. And, to break the ice, I can be reached at armynicca2000 on Yahoo IM.

I used to go to an AOL chatroom or two when I was in college, but most of the time it was kind of disappointing. 23 people signed in and 2/3 of them were men looking to do a virtual tickle experience with a woman. I never pretended to be a woman online, but I suspect if I had I would have gotten 15 guys trying to talk one-on-one with me at once.

Of course that was a little earlier in time and things have now changed. But I generally fel comfortable posting, reading posts and swaping e-mails. In my job (outside sales rep) all I do is talk to people in real time. It's nice to slow things down a little, I think.

Please write the Ticklers in Black movie script. I would so go and see that. 🙂

I do like the forum format. It is nice to have a slow pace and think about what to write.
