Tickling? Genetic or. . . other?

I know that this has come up before but i think it is worthy of another discussion for those who have not seen it.

This is a very simple question. . .

Is a tickling fetish a genetic thing?
I'm really curious to others input.

Well, if its genetic, your parents probably have it.
Or perhaps its passed by subleminal messages inadvertantly sent during the first few years of life. Its all a complicated mess of brain functions.

I believe so...

I definitely feel a tickling fetish is genetic. Most of us ticklephiles have loved tickling from early childhood, and it has remained with us all our lives. Sort of like sexual preferences. You don't decide at 15 that you are going to be gay. It's a disposition you are born with.

I also feel tickling fetishes can be hereditary. My uncle, while he has never admitted it, is a known tickle freak. And I am already aware of the fact I have passed my tickling desires onto my daughter. Even at the age of 6, she is already begging for someone, ANYONE to tickle her all the time. Don't be surprised if you see a Mini-Mimi running around these parts in about 12 years....LOL

Genetics or somthing that "happens" early in childhood? Can anyone here remember anything that "started" their love of tickling? First time I remember that I really liked tickling was at a very young age when I took somthing out of my parents bedroom while a babysitter was over. When I wouldn't give it to her she tried taking it from my hand, I wouldn't let go. So she pulled on what I had so my hand was up in the air, her other hand came down and tickled my armpit and down my side. I must have let go after a few seconds, ever since then I have wanted to be tickled, and tickle. Can't say I have had any tickling really after that tough 🙁

I think it is genetic. I personally can't remember any traumatic tickling episodes that caused me to be this way. All I know is when I started to see tickling on TV or in a movie I got very aroused. The earliest experience I remeber was the Mark Wilson magic shows but I probably saw stuff earlier than that. Anyway it seems this was just wired into me from the start. I think like Mimi said you don't decide to be gay and I think you don't decide tickling is going to turn you on. It is a predisposition ingrained into your brain when you are born. My humble two cents worth for the day.
