Tickling in Interrogation?

Do you think the police could use tickling to get suspects to talk instead of torture?
Or maybe instead of tazing them they could tickle them to get them to put their hands behind their back?

No, not practical in the real world. Only for fantasy role-play and fetish stories.

First of all police are not supposed to use torture; it goes against human rights laws. Tazers work hell of a lot better than tickling. First of all for a tazer you don't have to be in close quarters to use it as you do for tickling. If police were to use tickling to try and subdue a suspect they run the risk of being over-powered very easily. You don't know who you're up against.

Again, not practical in the real world.

Tickling can be torture if it's against your will and prolonged.. yes.

As for tazers, they are a non-lethal way to bring down a suspect. It's meant to paralyze (stun) you so they can subdue. It's not torture. Torture is the idea if they lock you in a room and keep on tazing you until you give in; which doesn't happen.

Yes there have been deaths, but it's a minority and many times it happened due to the person's reaction from falling (such as the guy in NYC) rather than from the tazer itself.

awhile back someone posted a news article about some country who not long ago adopted rib tickling as a tool used during interrogations.Apparantly the countrys police had great success in getting info they needed from suspects..one suspect in paticular VERY quickly (under tickle torture) gave up info the police needed and more info more good measure
