Tickling in long-term Relationships

I came out of the closet a couple of days ago on this board with my first post. Here's the second...

I was married this summer to a woman that I have been involved in for several years. She has known since the start that I had a thing for tickling, and has indulged me once or twice. I have recently introduced her to the wealth of material available on-line, and we are going to order a couple of videos.

Enough background, and to my point. To those involved in long-term relationships or marriages (either same or opposite gender), how large of a role does tickling play in the physical relationship? Is it the whole kit-n-caboodle? Is it just foreplay? Or somewhere in between?

From one grad student to another, I'm involved in a long term relationship, but haven't quite disclosed tickle material to my sig other. She knows that I am very much into it, but doesn't know the wealth of info and satisfaction I get from speaking with others via the net or seeing media.

If it weren't for tickling, I probably wouldn't -have- the long-term relationship I'm in. (We met for some ticklish fun, decided we liked each other, and the rest is history.)

Tickling is an essential part of our relationship. We casually tickle each other on a nearly constant basis -- I usually wind up playing with her feet when we watch TV together, we have a regular game of "Ticklebuggy" going, and we never fail to slip in a quick rib poke or underarm tickle when the opportunity offers itself. Tickle fights, or more formal bondage-and-tickling scenes, serve us as foreplay, though we've done them just for fun as well.

I doubt either of us would be really happy in a relationship without tickling, so it's especially lucky we've found each other.

My wife and I have always lightly tickled each other during forplay. Since I recently expressed my deep desires to be tickled, she now tickles me all the time (walking by each other in the kitchen, laying on the couch, or whenver she gets the chance).
