dtrell-- Don't worry about other people at those parties. They are into far weirder stuff than we are (I'm not kidding). They're probably more worried about being seen then butting into you're business.

I hate to sound like the country boy that I am...but:

I get to New York on an irregular basis and usually avoid the "city" becasue I'm unfamiliar with the territory. Are these regular events? Would an outsider have any problem getting in or out there? If nothing else I'd like to observe one once before I die.
