Tickling is sinning?

Yea, i noticed this was one of the posts back then...but is tickling actually a sin? No, I don't mean like naked ladies being tickled. I mean like a playful tickle like foot tickling. Just tickling without the nudity. But when I read the post back then, people were still arguing. What would people say about this situation. When I write stories that involve tickling, i worried if I'm sinning since I'm a Christian. What would YOU say?

I don't see what's so wrong with it.

From a Christian standpoint, I guess it might be wrong to tickle/be tickled by someone you aren't married too, but at the same time I'm assuming that only goes for ppl who get off on it, or who do it with bondage etc.

Obviously nonconsensual tickling past a certain point would be a sin.

I dunno, I'll continue to tickle.

I don't care what anybody says, but tickling someone else who is with someone else, more than just playfully isn't right. I don't want other tickling-obsessed guys(or girls) tickling my girlfriend for more than a second. I think anybody who has a g/f or b/f can relate. If not cool, but respect others opinions on the subject. It's the same as not wanting others touching the person you love in "private spots". There really isn't much difference. Especially in the eyes of someone who enjoys tickling.

Neither Scripture nor any church/denomination (as far as I know) would consider simple playful tickling as sinful. The point where questions arise is when it crosses over into sexual contact outside of a marital relationship. Tickling in and of itself is a harmless and playful act and is not sexual. Like so many other things (as has been discussed here many times) it is the focus and intent of those involved that makes it sexual or non-sexual.

Just the facts, ma'am. Just the facts. I'll leave it at that.

I wouldn't worry about it too much like I have said before I think God grades on a curve. So tickling is probably pretty low on the list, heck I don't think it is even mentioned in Dante's Inferno.

And I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree, as most of you probably surmized I would! Beside the "Russian Novel of yore...," initiated by someone who was once considered a dear friend to this forum and ergo, the community-at-large (hint...hint...hint...*forced smile*)to whom qjakal's post in this thread refers, I have some thoughts and amplifications of My own I so bravely offered more recently. Those thoughts and reflections can be found at this Giving up tickling for lent link. My post is can be found as the third down in that thread.

I would generally agree with the amplifications offered about tickling one's significant other, in a communal setting, as Tickling Duo and drummer_punk have so bravely, yet thoughfully, offered on this thread. The exception being, perhaps, (for ONE example, I am confident this forum could relate MANY others and that would be welcome here)when My tickle companion jen and I mutually agree to tickle with "select" other singles and couples in a more intimate setting. I CANNOT amplify ENOUGH, how important it is to include ALL parties at ALL phases of the CRITCAL pre-scene negotiation that SHOULD ALWAYS precede tickling in such an intimate, but communal setting! COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE! And respect each other's moral values in that process. If you proceed as intelligent, respectful, courteous, and thoughful adults, the quality of tickle play shall be revered by ALL involved and will, GENERALLY, be high.

Nuff said, I yield to the rest of this fine forum!

Period!

Tickling in and of itself is in no way sinful.
