Definitely. I've noticed a lot of the videos flooding the market these days have a tendency to be about half tickle, and half vibrator-induced orgasm/ handjob/ fingering/ eating out/ whatever. A complicated question! Here's hoping I can stay coherent.

For me, this has changed in the past few years. Before, I would've said yes to either. Pure tickling was just as interesting to me as tickling with some form of arousal. Now, I find pure tickling to be less desirable. I generally think of tickling now as a highly arousing form of foreplay; it almost inevitably leads to sex in my mind.

This, in part, was admittedly something of condition. My girlfriend is actually quite ticklish, but isn't into the fetish much, if at all. She lets me tickle her, but because she isn't into it, it becomes a more sensual thing, hence the correlation between tickling and sex.

In a video, however, it's a whole different thing. There, I don't believe I've changed. I like to see pure tickling as much as I always did, but as far as arousal goes, it really depends. If it's a straight divide into tickling section/vibrator section, probably not too interested. As it stands, it's been done so much recently that it takes a stellar example to get me interested in it.
 
In a video, I prefer to see tickling without overt sexual content. In real life, it depends on who my lee is 😉

No problem, it's quite hard. There is another thing or level to it though: when you bank or delay stimulus or arousal, it can basically lead to more gratifying and violent release.
 
I think a lot of it depends on where you come from regarding your particular "kink". The tickling sub-sub-subsociety within the larger world of fetish and kink often sees itself as far larger than it actually is. And that's the answer I think you'll get from most folks for whom tickling is one part of an equation. For a large number of folks for whom tickling is "It", of course the focus is bound to be on the act itself. And all of it's Good. 🙂 Very, very Good.

Yeah, that's probably it. I guess my kink (if you can call it that) strictly includes relentless sole tickling.

BTW, I'm wondering if someone can recommend to me some good stories here that involves pure relentless sole tickling. It doesn't matter to me who the 'lee is. Absolutely... unless it happens to me (did only once). I've only truly tied and tickled one of my ex boyfriends... when we were dating he thought we were going back to my place one night after dinner so he could get some action.
