pardon my bluntness, but...
I was just trying to express my thoughts and opinion of the convention while making the point that I'm not condemning anyone who enjoys it. Everyone is entitled to express their thoughts without fear of someone putting them down for it.
I never thought I would read a post on a forum for a niche group of sexual fetishists like what I've seen above, but.... *deep breath and sigh*

It's also entirely possible to express your feelings/POV/opinions on any given subject while showing respect for the people who think differently than you. It also lays to rest the fear of the other group feeling condemned or "put down", because if their beliefs are being respected, they are not being judged. You are simply voicing your opinion on an event or activity. And as an extra bonus the speaker doesn't come off sounding like a wishy-washy, non-committal jerk, but rather strong-minded, committed to his convictions, and (usually) nothing is included in the message that can't supported, by fact. Allow me to demonstrate...
Example- those weirdos who get their kicks being tied up and tickled, now understand I'm not trying be a hater. I'm just saying it freaks me out an I would never want to do it

While doing an online search for "tickle files", I came across this site where a bunch of people who seemed to link tickling (like with a feather) with sex got together and discussed it. Not my cup of tea, but to each his own..
I realized these are two extremes on the reaction scale, but that doesn't change the nature of the responses Besides who couldn't use a nice frolic at least every one in a while. I might've gone if I'd known about it, had the money, and lived anywhere near where it's going down
