Tickling Program

Hey all, I program a little in C++ and VB, and I was bored one day and wanted to learn a little about C++ vectors, so I made a tickling program (too keep it interesting). It's a pretty interesting program, you can make a character. Then you can give her a name, description, and then there are 13 spots on her body you can tickle. Once you finish you can save it all to a file and send it to someone else that has the program. They can load the file with the program and then tickle her and the responces you typed will come up. She can be tickled in all 13 places several times. It's sort of hard to explain so let me use examples. The first one is the neck, it will ask you how many times you want her to be tickled on her neck? Then you can enter a number. If you enter 3, it will say "What is her responce the first time they will tickle her?" and you will type an answer, then it will ask the same thing for the second and third. When you do all 13 spots, it will save it to a file. This file can then be sent to someone else who has the program, and it will ask the user where he wants to tickle her. If he chooses the neck then he can tickle her there once, and get the first responce you entered, then tickle her there again, and get the second, and again for the third. If some poeple don't understand this program please post questions so I can explain better.
Back to the original pont of this post, would anyone want me to give this program out? If so, everyone that gets the program can make some Tickle Characters of their own, and send them to each other. It's a pretty interesting program and if anyone wants to know more about it PLEASE post.

i wanna know more. i just got started in C++ a few months ago, and now im getting better at it. I would love to know more about the game and how it was programmed.

Definitely sounds like a cool way to spend some free time. About the program, is it possible to run it without C++ or such software, like just as a game? Sorry but I'm a real moron about computer programming and such. If not, is there an easy (read: cheap) way to obtain the necessary software?

no software necassary

You don't need any kind of software to run normal C++ programs. If you guys want me to post it somehow, give me some info on how I can post it. If enough people want it I'll find someway to post it no matter what.

a Start!

Now...all we need is LucasFilms to come through with that grant for interactive holographic interfaces and we've got ourselves a winner! GUI would never mean quite the same to us again...

OK, side question: how much detail can you put into these characters? For example, could you make one out of a picture of someone, to make them look like that person?

I hope I didn't get your hopes up...

The program is in C++, not visual C++, big difference there. It is completely text based. Basically it asks for a name, you can enter whatever you want. Then it asks for a description of her, and you can enter any kind of description, that can be as long as you want. Then you enter how she responds when tickled in the 13 areas (not including the sub-areas I was talking about before, you can have it so she can be tickled several times on lets say her feet. You can use this in a variety of ways, but one Idea is the first time they tickle her, her response be something like "S-s-stop I"m n-not ticklish" or something, and then by the third or fourth time you tickle her she is in hysterical laughter), after that, you simply save. Then another character just loads the file with the program and gets her name, description, and then can tickle her wherever he wants out of the 13 spots (lucky number right? lol). Any other questions? Or does anyone want me to E-Mail them the program with some characters I have made so they can see first hand how it works?

Ohhhhh I getcha. Sounds cool. You can email me whatever you have at [email protected]. I appreciate it much, can't wait to try this out. Thanks.

Yea. I wanna check it out too. I dunno anything about visual C++ but i am all about learning C++. Ive gotten as far as for loops and now im trying to learn some html. Many books to read. Its like trying to learn spanish and german at the same time, one minute your saying something in spanish, the next youre ending your sentence speaking german.Oh well. My e-mail addy is [email protected] I am very interested in learning how you did it and how the program works.

P.S. shelper how do you run c++ documents without the c++ program on your computer?

I'm sorry about not sending yet...

I'm sorry I haven't sent the program out to everyone yet, I'm still working out a couple of bugs. It's not going to look great because it's in the form of a console application right now (aka dos window). thefeatherroom, to answer your question, making program using the workspace "console application" should work fine with anyones computer. Actually it should also work fine with mac and linux if I'm not mistaking. I used a couple of old files I had from high school to create the program, so the string & vecter portions of it are not exactly regular C++, but they are similair. As soon as I get the program 100% I'll E-Mail you with more info.
