Time, unfortunatly, presses as usual, so I'll make this short as can be. I've been skimming through the posts quickly, and also through the artwork section (I need to get Poser and a whole heap of talent someday) and I've just been noticing that wherever people run into difficulties - writing, drawing, technical details, life details, you name it - there are all kinds of offers to help from just about everyone. It just gives one a warm fuzzy feeling inside. It did for me anyway. Of course, that could be a bit of a leftover from the drug use of a few days ago (I did warn everyone about MDMA, right?) But really, it's simply incredible how close a community we are. Picturing myself five years from now, there are very few constants I am certain of having in my life - I'm used to moving around, meeting new people and leaving old ones, getting into new situations entire. However, no matter where I find myself in five, 10, 20 years, I always imagine this board being there as a place to talk, to listen, to share and to be shared with.
The other thing was that I leave for the Army shortly (Gotta do the patriotic duty 🙂) and I will be gone for about 6 months, starting at the beginning of January. While I look forward to going to train for my country and I don't regret it, I will miss the interaction of all these creative, intelligent, compassionate people (all three of these qualities are in rather short supply in the enlisted side of the service, alas, though there are of course exceptions). Anyway, not too sure where I'm going with that, it's late and I'm sleep deprived and still not entirely myself, quite a bit more emotional than usual. Argh...less articulate though...Oh I've got it. Here's a thanks to all y'all for everything past and future that's been done for everyone else on the board. And a hug. Sure. A macho hug of course. But a hug. 🙂

Night y'all, and a very merry Christmas.

Welcome to the ranks of the enlisted soldier. Do you know where you are doing basic training and AIT yet? It's been 5 years since I dealt with those idiots wearing round brown hats but Im sure it will be an interesting time for you. Good luck.

Good luck buddy.

Actually, I have a question about tickling G.I. Janes. How much of that is even permissable or possible. When I was in the Army, must of the women were very manly looking and did not look to be into any kind of "wierd" games. Only a few were actually attractive and allowed you to have some fun.

Was I just in the wrong place and time?

Bye,

Knight Tickler

Best of luck, Ticklish 9's

Hope your entry and adjustment goes along smoothly. Remember one thing. The service, like everything else in life, is what you make of it. Contribute positively and you will get just rewards. Those rewards may not be as immediate as you seek, but they will come. Good Luck.

T9's Good Luck (future)Soldier!

As far as the "manly" looking women in the Army goes, I have some inside info for anyone interested. Here goes:

Women in the Military (in general) get treated like "fresh meat" constantly unless they're being challenged to act and perform like their male counterparts. Of course some females just don't care, but treat the one's you come across with respect, and they will always remember you because you're "different" from the other hardlegs.

I can't even begin to say what I'd like to share with you from experience T9's. If you're interested in what this 6 year Ex-Army Soldier has to say, then email me [email protected]

I will give you candid answers to any questions you may have along with valuable advice that I wish I had gotten when I first enlisted. I hope to hear from you.

I'm a huge fan of my Military Family no matter what branch. Much love and support to you all. HOOOAAHH!!! 😉

Just wanted to pop in and say Thank You Ticklish9's for devoting your time and energy as part of our Armed Forces. That's an incredibly generous gift you give us by serving us that way.

Best of Luck in your Army career.

Jan
