Tickling School?

This just came to me a few minutes ago. What if here was some sort of private school for Tickling? Where one could go and enroll and learn many aspects of the tickling culture. There would be demonstrations on different tickle techniques, demonstration on the different tickle devices, and for homework, one would have to watch Tickle videos and study. All this and much more...

Definately student participation classes. Also, for the beginning classes, they'd have to determine just how much of a 'ler or 'lee you were. 😉

And, of course, Sammi, a lot of anatomy and physiology classes would be needed. Perhaps some biochemistry to analyze how the body reacts to different forms of tickling at the cellular level....

I get this funny feeling you're about to make chemistry class not too boring to survive. Though I always did better in labs than lectures. I'm more of a hands-on learner. 😀

Perhaps not Darwin classes specifically, but he surely would be mentioned. Not necessarily evolution, but the study of body types and features of humans in different areas of the world, as well as sexual practices in those areas. The biggest factor is climate, of course; which leads into dress code, which can then lead into a study of footwear/feet in general. Darwin, though, I think would have to be mentioned since subjects involving minor changes within humans across large scales of land is nearly identical to the adaption of the Galapagos swallows.

Studies of tickling within literature and popular media would probably be worth investigating; really, some of their appearances seem a tad... unnecessary. I'll cite tmnt for that one, and leave it at that.

The study of tickling as a form of social interaction, possibly. Philosophy and psychology would be involved, as well as an understanding of human anatomy. Honestly, this would be a well rounded school; albeit probably biased.

Hmm, actually, the research aspect of this seems interesting to me. Interesting...

My classes are always heavy on lab and light on lecture...afterall, we'll need to create a lot of blood and sweat samples to test...

Yes, mostly sweat, perhaps some other body fluid samples to look for neurotrasmitters or other chemical markers...would save blood/serum samples for Masters/PhD level coursework

And I'm thinking, as some sort of end of the year project, students must produce some sort of a Tickling Video; 5 minutes the minimal length...

I think it would be cool.The ticklers would lear different techniques by a Mistress and they would have to tickle someone for an hour 5 days a week for practice.The lees would just learn how to take the tickling for extended periods of time and both would learn the culture and history of tickling.When you were naughty you would be sentenced to detention where you would be stripped to your undergarments and strapped to a table where a senior mistress would tickle you for the rest of the day.On every Friday the Ticklers and Lees would meet up and they would be assigned partners.The lees would be strapped down and there ticklers would tickle them as best as they can and the first tickler who can get their lee to scream and beg them to stop gets a reward and the lee who holds out the longest gets a reward.The two winners get to go for a round togethor and see who holds out longer the lee or ler and the winner gets another reward! That's how I would run the show!

I think QueenBB has a great idea there. How about a University that happens 2-4 times a year, that rotates round the country? Or maybe regional ones.

You know, as random of a thought as it was when it started, it may work. Not exactly a gathering, but really having classes. Like bondage classes to learn how to do it safely and creatively. technique classes from a male instructor, and another class with a female instructor (since men and women oft differ in style). Building gear classes. Technique practice labs, and gear building labs.

SCA folk who have experience with unversity, symposiums, or other days of just classes know kinda what I mean.

It sounds like a kick-ass weekend to me.

Pardon me if I'm thinking it could be a real world workable idea 😉. But I'd love it. And I think it COULD work.
