Tickling sensitivity

I've noticed that when I get tickled, I lose sensitivity much faster than I'd like.
Is there anything I can do to avoid/alleviate this problem?

I would guess various techniques, spots, pressures. Taking breaks. Trying to add verbal teasing or something else to keep you in the right headspace. Smokin weed.

Definitely some weed.
Being naked with a light fan breeze (not to the point of being cold-may need to warm the room to compensate )
Lots of baby oil for the feet
Lots of tickle toys. Tiny paint brushes between the toes never fails to induce tearful hysteria for me.

I would also recommend a variation of technique. A big part of tickling is sensation and different speeds, pressure, tools, etc add different sensations. If I were to guess, I would say that you were losing sensitivity to that particular sensation. My current girlfriend is very ticklish on her feet, but not to typical nail sputtering or soft caressing. The most effective thing we found was our Violet Wand, because it's such a unique sensation. So, it's just a matter of finding the different sensations that work and switching it up to keep you from anticipating and losing sensitivity. Hope it helps! ^_^

What helps me is also switching positions. For example tied face up, then face down or hogtied or standing etc.

Excellent advice on all counts, though I find the more I am tickled the more ticklish I get unless the tickling is too hard

various positions, try one foot bare one in nylon, alternate, maybe try a temperature change, warm heat (hair dryer) then a ice cube, the change will effect the sensitivity

Baby oil, cold hands on warm skin, and tickling over slippery fabric have all worked for me. Mix and match to keep sensitivity high 😉

I have the same issue. I've found that the best things to keep me off balance are switching from one place to another very quickly and verbal teasing added in. Good bondage probably helps too.

I find I'm not ticklish unless I feel safe. When I was growing up I 'made' myself be not ticklish by faking it, holding it in etc. That seems to unfortunately have had a lasting effect--now that I -want- to be ticklish I find I'm not as much as I'd like to be. With me it's a case of finding certain spots and going back to them every now and then to keep me ticklish (my thighs and upper back don't lose sensitivity like the rest of me for some reason) and being verbally teased until I feel both helpless and safe. Hope this helps! 😀
