Tickling Sickness?

:huh Seems like years ago when I stumbled across this "series" of sorts.

If I recall correctly, the first chapter was about a desolate world populated by regular people who were in hiding from people who had been caught and "turned" into ticklers via some sort of sickness. A young guy was getting ready to propose to his girlfriend, when she was "turned" by this tickling "sickness" and attacked him. I believe the author may have had his(?) own site where the stories were posted. If anybody knows who or where this story may be, I'd appreciate it. I always thought the concept was rather good, and am in need of a good read.

Sounds like they beat me to the punch by years, but I've been considering doing something along similar lines, mainly thanks to all the horror films in recent years where people are turned into crazy maniacs by plagues and such. Sorta like tickling zombies or something. Lotsa logistical things to bear in mind to produce such a story with any sense of realism to it at all. So, for now, it's just something cooking in mah haid.
