Should've finished this ages ago; only just got around to it. Tried a softer shading / lighting style here, partly to reflect the fact she's a doll (hence no skin screentone) and partly to experiment with possible new techniques.

EDIT: The Mechanism: If she moves her feet down and away from the tickling feathers, the can's hande is pulled up and water is tipped into the bucket. Suiseiseki's watering can has infinite water. So if she wants to avoid getting a wet ass, she's got to endure the tickling.

...Hmm...Had to double check your pencil version. You might wanna take another crack at the face since it doesn't quite match up and looks a little weird or lacking. Also kind of wish you had kept the wrinkled sole lines, but you were going for a doll look so I guess I'll let it pass.

Great coloring otherwise.

That's what I'm trying to figure. I thought that if she moved down from the feathers, the ropes would pull the water can over, but there's a post under the stocks, so they can't move. And if the water does fall into the tub, it's not like she'd float, and even if she did...

Seriously, this is so intricate that I wanna know what's going on.

That's what I'm trying to figure. I thought that if she moved down from the feathers, the ropes would pull the water can over, but there's a post under the stocks, so they can't move. And if the water does fall into the tub, it's not like she'd float, and even if she did...

The original sketch was different than this. The base had a screw-like shaft and someone holding and waving the feathers, while this one has it all as a machine but at the loss of the old shaft.

The contraption does seem confusing. I mean, I've now ran through several "maybes" in my head, but each comes up with a "Why?".

Maybe the stocks slowly move up based on how much water is in the tank. Doing so makes it harder and harder for her toes to escape the feathers until finally she'll never be able to escape the tickling. But then, what's the point of the ropes? If the stocks move up, they'll just help the bucket sit down to where it doesn't drip anymore.

So maybe the stocks go down instead? As they do, they help tip the bucket, which in turn fills the tank up with more water - and perhaps that pedestal she is sitting on is pressure sensitive so the more weight, the closer the feathers get. But then, why is the water below her and not surrounding her butt? Even then, that seems pointless because all it does is lower both her feet and the feathers; maybe not even at the same time (I would assume the stocks would get ahead of the drips).
Though, maybe when she wiggles or jumps in place from the stroke of the feather, her bottom causes the device to drop the feathers closer...but then what's the point of her water pale dripping there?

Maybe she has to pee (like a doll does... Hey, the dolls eat and drink in the anime, so maybe they pee too), and the tickling sensation on her toes as well as the continuous water drips is driving her insane and closer to wetting herself? Or...something... still doesn't explain how it all works.

The tickling I can see as torturous, but then again maybe the real culprit is... A SOGGY BOTTOM! As we all know, soggy bottoms are the leading cause of female doll deaths!

Honestly, I don't care. I love Suiseiseki and loved seeing her toes get tickled (and her original face. Not so much this one). You guys gettin all LODGE-EH-KALL over this lol. We'll just see what Satur1n says.

In any case, I agree about the pencil version. The face had more expression and the wrinkles are missing here. Well even if she's a doll, she could have been made as a realistic doll with wrinkles(to be better for her master).
