The Feet : In my experience, for best results feet should be dry and warm. The ideal is in the morning after sleeping, in that moment, the sensibility of the soles is at its peak.

Some people argues that wet soles are ticklish but I insist that when the skin is dry and warm the nails(or whatever instrument) produce a stronger ticklish sensation, also the temperature of the skin is important(its almost impossible to feel tickles with cold feet!!).

Regarding this matter, my girl use to dry my soles with a hairdryer before the torture (try it, the effect is great).

We all dream in tickling a beautiful girl at the beach in a kind of Baywatch mood but if you try you will see that that the girl soles accustomed to walking bare in the sand are very hard to tickle, the same happens with girls who use to walk barefoot, in those cases the heels and the balls of the feet are really hard and you must work either in the arches or between their toes (in my true story The Ballerina this technique caused great effect!!)

Actually, for those who don't ordinarily spend time at the beach, a good stent on sand can be nature's pedicure.
Some time in sea water and walking on the wet sand helps to rub off the dead skin, especially on rough heels and soles. 🙂

I agree, sand and water are really effective.

By the way, in general, women who usually wear high heels will have less ticklish feet, but with the proper treatment they’ll laugh a lot.

We all have read stories about hours and hours of tickling, but that is almost impossible to accomplish because feet get used to the strokes, anyway we can increase the duration of the “treatment” if we take our time and stop every one or two minutes of tickling.

Diego, I’ve lived under the impression that one should not even bother to tickle the feet of a woman who goes barefoot a lot or uses restrictive footwear. So being a foot tickling fan myself I’m particularly interested in reading a post on your “proper treatment for women who usually wear high heels”.

As for those with soft ticklish feet I agree that sensation wears off after a while of hard finger tickling. That’s why when possible I use the softer tickling implements first and save the fingernails for last.

Exactly. Start light, end heavy, take a break from the feet to tickle another part (knees, ankles, calves can be very ticklish) that's in the viscinity of the feet. The feet will regain sensitivity and before long, you can go back to getting a great reaction from your victim again.

i'v learnd that the best way to increase the sensitivity of feet is to get them very warm or almost hot, by soaking in hot water for about 5-10 minutes, or using a blow tryer like Diego says.
heat is supposed to open up the blood vessels in the skin, which in creasees ticklishness.

Yes as you say women who usually go barefoot or wear high heels are quite difficult to tickle, but there are usually ticklish spots : Between the toes and of course the arches.

Women with high arches will have softer skin in that part of the foot because it doesnt have too much contact with the floor or shoes, sotickle there!!

Of corse is always better to tickle soft tender soles but there are so beautifull feet!! I f you think of supermodels, actresses, they are always wearing high heels (I dont think Madonna will have soft soles but I love them anyway!)

I posted a true story " Ticklish Ballerina", this beautifull girl has beautifull feet whith ticklish arches but her heels and the balls of her feet are really hard to tickle.

So, if the girl isn’t ticklish in her feet, that doesn’t mean she has insensible feet, I know women who get really excited when their feet receive caressing, kissing and even biting( I know a couple of them who get totally excited when I gently bite their soles).

Regarding the tickling instruments, although the tip of a feather, a pen and even electric toothbrush are good for tickling feet, I think that women fingernails are the best of all

Excuse me if I’m too specific in this post, but I’m a fan of feathers: they have a sensual, precise touch that can be used in different ways to achieve a mild, prolonged stimulation. Which is just the way I like it.
I experimented a few times solely with feathers on feet and got a couple of ideas:
With the tip of a stiff feather I slowly stimulated the sole as a hole with long lazy strokes. Apparently, if done lightly enough in a sensitive sole, this does not actually account as tickling but rather creates an unbearable “itchy” feeling (at least that’s how a ticklee explained the urge to rub her feet against the mattress when I gave her a well earned rest).
When the tip was no longer causing enough damage, I turned the feather around and used the quill in a “scratching” way. A favorite place of mine to use the feather in this fashion was the center of the sole just below the ball and in between two tendons that mark the beginning of the arch. By stubbornly scratching there I got great reactions. Finally, before moving on to the other foot, I carefully poked her scratched sole with the quill to great effect too ( a nice mixture of he-hes and outch!). An obvious place I overlooked is the space between the toes. This was due my inexperience with toe bondage: Daniela just kept trapping the feather with her toes or folding them tight so that I couldn’t get in-between.

Is there another feather enthusiast who’d like to share ideas?
Any pointers for effective foot bondage?

tools vs. digits

First off, I'm disappointed to see that Kujman wasn't here already. He has a good discourse into the use of temperature and other stimulation to sensitize feet. Might squick the delicate, but the man has some good research done on his topics.

Beyond that, though, I'm trying to recall all the things used at my events, and by me, personally. Here's the list of items, in no particular order:

fingers
beard stubble
chins
noses (yes, I'm serious)
teeth
both for nibbling and scraping lightly
breath
yes, some folks get *that* sensitive
toes (mentioned in other posts, too)
feathers (which didn't work well for most 'lees)
the pointy end is particularly effective
surprising, too
brushs
paint brushes
erasure brushes
beard brushs
combs
q-tips
nerve wheels
small toys
like little soldiers or animals
seriously

Then there's the mixing of pressure. Light feathery contact versus scrubbing or prodding. Some 'lees bruise easily, and resent the hell out of it. I've heard that more than once from gathering attendees, in email the following day. Most prefer NOT to have a ring of bruises around their middles. Some don't care, though. Good to ask ahead of time, or lighten the contact and quit trying to "dig" into them, seeking a response.

We must also remember to wait a few minutes after we remove the ticklee s shoes and socks to let the sensibility of the feet at its “peak”, only then with the soles dry and warm we shall begin the tickling

Another issue I d like to comment is that you usually see pictures and videos where the girl is spreading the toes while being tickled, I think that they are faking because the natural reaction to tickling is the contraction of the muscles so the ticklee would really contract the feet and the toes “down”.

-dried-out marker pens
-thin rope drawn through between the toes
-battery-operated vibrator with pointed tip for clit-stimulation (works very nicely on even less ticklish soles and toes)
-battery-operated vibrator with a pointed feather taped to it
-latex gloves with a soft single latex thorn on each finger tip

Augh! Aw, Haltickling, I can't BELIEVE I left out the tongue, plastic fork, or vibrator. I learned that vibrator trick only recently, and found that many things, when bound to such a thing, will produce delightful results. I also recall using yarn and ribbon between toes. I'm gettin' old, brother, 'cause I should've remembered those. I will be trying the others you mentioned, too, 'specially that latex glove. Where DO you get those?

Ah, the winter events are soundin' better already. Wish there were more open events. The gatherings section is lulling, as private parties get more common. *sigh*

Oh, and for Diego, all feathers are good when you're using the pointy end of 'em. When using the other side, though, something stonger, like gull feathers, proves more effective empirically. Ain't seen a lot of ticklish results from the downier feathers. Seen some more intimate responses, but this IS a tickling forum. 😉

about instruments

I am glad you remembered vibrators, they work great on feet. One more item I thought up for other parts of the body that react well to feathers was this. I took my electric screwdriver and superglued 6 feathers to it. When I turned it on the feathers spun around like a tickling menace. It worked rather well and was happy considering where I applied the device...muhahaha (won't tell that part, my secret).

Is is obviously a vibrater being held in the hand of the tickler close to the camera befor going to work on One Young laughers toes... but what is it that makes her jump so when she is being suspend looking upward.
