Ticklish get-together...

Hello all,

Is there any chance of a thread where we arrange a UK tickle-meet that doesn't turn into every guy propositioning the first woman who replies and thus scaring off every other interested female party?!

I'm not trying to be snotty, please forgive me.

My point is...! :

Having been part of the community forever, I know that there are men AND INCREDIBLY - women(!) that are fans of tickling, but the chance here in England to get together, rarely presents itself.

I don't know if it's because we're scared or shy or paranoid, but actual tickling in England that results from meeting via the net is a rare and precious thang!

Now, those who are interested in having a big UK meet can either post their interest on the web or email me personally in TOTAL privacy and confidence and I'll arrange a get-together.

I shall not keep selected email addresses for myself! As I said I am an honest guy.

SO I PROPOSE...:

Either:

a. leave a reply here stating your interest and your email address

b. or email me at [email protected] and state your interest.

This way ladies will not be bombarded with harrassment and I can let everyone know exactly what the state of play is. Sound fair?!

It's about time we had some real fun in this community and take full advantage of what the guys of this forum are doing for us!

Great notion, but was mistakenly placed in the Personals, when such a group meeting is considered a gathering.

I hosted one, there, years ago. No women were propositioned at my event, and indeed, many of the men attending demurred from joining in the play later in the event. Quite polite folk, every one.

It's possible to do. It requires a bit of focused planning, but it's not beyond you, given your clear observations here. There's a website created for the organizing of such events at http://members.aol.com/gatheringswc/ and it delineates the organizing of such.

In your area, initial munches are a good notion, either at pubs or restaurants. Small social events to meet the interested parties. If you wish to avoid hosting in your home, there are several bdsm clubs in your country, and so long as you don't insist on hosting your event on a Friday or Saturday night, you'll find time free for such things.

Mail me if you wish. I'm happy to help where I can. I can recommend others who've done such, many of whom are here on the TMF, like QBWeaver, TTD, Max Speer, and more. The more info from the most sources here will best serve you, I expect.

Great Idea!!

Hi Velvet_Tickles, i am just writing to say that i would love to come to a gathering but i don't think mony other people would especially females! Actually,UK-FootTickler, I hosted one there some time ago, and more than one woman showed. More were listed than showed, 'cause there's a reticence to be the only one. I would imagine that it's possible to get women to attend a munch easily, and a gathering with a host folks trusted would be only slightly more difficult.

It's do-able. Folks here thought that they weren't possible, for the same reason you doubt. It turns out that such isn't true. It DOES require doing more than one, for some folks. If you approach it first as a social effort, to get folks out, to meet and potentially to play, and make rules enough that everyone knows they're safe, they'll show.

If I, as a visiting American, could get a group to come out that included men and women, and even play with some of 'em in a group scene, it's possible. If y'got a good look at me, and knew I wasn't some pretty-boy, you'd be more amazed.

Seriously, it takes dedicated effort, and scrupulous ethic, and a place to host. If either of you have no room-mates/flat-mates then you have the hard part solved. Mail me if you need further details. Do a view of this second from the beginning, and you'll see there's many interested. Once it's started, whomever organizes it will get more responses than are seen here, and that will likely include women, as it does everywhere else in the world.
