what position?

To me it depends on what the targeted body parts are. If you are doing all over tickling, then spread-eagle is the best. However is you are concentrating mainly on the feet, then I LOVE hogties. Hogties just look very sexy to me and are my absolute favorite position both to put my girlfriend into and for her to put me into as well.
 
No Y-Frame?!

I like the Y-Frame position. With the feet tied together then tied to the bottom of the bed & the arms spread tied to the bed post. But if I had to pick one of your choices it would be spread-eagle.

Of the choices listed, I will go with spread-eagle. A hogtie is also great, but I have never had the opportunity to have used stocks.
 
Spread eagle all the way- exposes so many ticklish spots and adds to the vulnerability of the lee.

Hogtie- I have tried and it didn't go so well. My girlfriend got out really easily. Not a big fan of this position

Stocks- I have never had the pleasure of working with this equipment. Seems quite awesome!

I normally find myself in the 'Y' position arms overhead and spread and cuffed to the bed and my feet (not always restrained) but down the other end.

I'd like to try the standing up 'Y' position.
 
Face up, spread eagle in nothing but swim briefs, so my ticklish spots are all exposed. Cuffed so there's no hope of escape. The less I can move, the better!
 
I love both spread eagle and hogtied, but you can't hold the hogtied for too long or you start cramping. So i'd hafta say spread eagle comes in first
 
i like all 3, they all sound fun, doesnt really matter i like any position as long as it's comfortable
