Anyone else out there get all flustered, as in blushing, butterflies in stomach, goose bumps, and unintentionally giggly when a Ler teases by either wiggling his/her fingers or else verbally teases by threatening to tickle?

If so, do you think this is just a Pavlov thing or what?

Personally, whenever my hubby teases this way, I'll even squeal if caught off guard, and just a few seconds of wiggling fingers delivered with a sly smirk is enough to make me giggle out loud ! :blush :blush :blush
 
Personally, I'm able to hold up quite well to that sort of stuff on some of my most ticklish spots that one would imagine would garner such an uncontrolled reaction, such as my feet or sides. But I can't help but react just like that on my very worst spot: my armpits. My fiance sometimes likes to "fake" a tickle attack there, or tease by wiggling her fingers and taunting, and even if she's nowhere close to me, just the general direction of her intention toward my underarms, or the mention of wanting to tickle me there, makes me involuntarily panic.

In my case, I don't think it had a chance to be a Pavlov thing, as I didn't even know how ticklish my armpits were before she first tested this - and I still reacted the same way. Couldn't even let her touch me there without spazzing like an idiot, and then we both found out that was "my weak spot." So...I 'unno! :lol
 
I do my best not to be affected by teasing like that... but there's definitely been some verbal teasing that made me shiver and feel more sensitive before anything even happened. Like when they tease that they know just where to tickle you and how, and act super confident about it, its like "oh shit...". I try to keep a good poker face, tho, so... I guess keep this between you and me.
 
Ooh yes. This is my biggest weakness-the intention to tickle me drives me into a complete fluster :blush Or just the intention to fluster me. I've literally seen me in the chatrom here in public when I was sick-a chatroom full of people tickle-teasing me brought my fever back :lol Even the typed out wiggling fingers gives me insane butterflies, nevermind actual wiggling fingers!

Tickle talk makes me even crazier. Again, I think the key is intention-somebody tickle-talking has the desire to see me go flustered and blushy--the sheer fact that this is what try want drives me crazy :blush

I'd also like to second LI's sentiment that somebody teasing that they know how to drive me crazy will do it. Completely robs me of my ability to fight off the teases!

Verbal implications and teasing I find are more effective. At least to me, anyway.

Any teasing in general is pretty effective. xp

I completely understand where you are coming from on that one, TKLVR18! A tickler who teases knowing that it flusters and with the intent to fluster will actually seem to increase my ticklishness! :blush :blush :blush
 
Oh god, I am such a wuss about implied tickling. I had a friend who, during phone calls, would randomly start saying "Tickle, tickle" in a very husky whisper, and just that was enough to make me bust out laughing. Or if I get a message on here, or RP in a chat, and just read about someone thinking about tickling me, or how they'd do it? I start squirming, giggling, and blushing. You don't even need to be in the same room as me! Not sure if it's a Pavlovian response. I might be alone in this. :blush

Don't worry, ticklewolf89! I promise you're not alone in this! I feel the same exact way when people tease me about tickling me and especially when they describe how they are going to do it, or even when they say how ruthless they are going to be, like when they assure you that if they had their way they'd bring you to tears....but yes, actually hearing it is especially devastating!:blush

Just hearing someone casually say on here that they'd have me in tears if they could makes my mind start racing. I think it's worse if they DON'T tell me exactly what they'd do, because my imagination takes over & I think up the most deliciously evil, drawn out tickle sessions. If they do tell me? I'll be a squirming, giggling mess, just imagining it actually happening...and hearing someone say it to me, even if they're not talking about doing it to me, is enough to make my body start responding as if it's preparing for pokes and prods.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this predicament, haha! 😛

I hear you! Words can be every bit as teasing as a mischievous touch! And yes, when someone directs those words to me, I 'll start blushing, giggling and squirming with anticipation, even if it is from someone who I intellectually know will never meet me in person - it's the knowledge of their devious intent that makes this "predicament" possible and yet soooo deliciously enjoyable, isn't it? *giggle!* Not a bad predicament at all! 😉

Yes, exactly! Logical me will go "but it's not actually happening, it's so completely hypothetical & it's from a person you'll probably never bump into in person," while the rest of me will squirm and giggle with anticipation & that evil part of my mind will pull up ancient memories of ticklish sensations. The devious intent is all I need to turn into a giggly mess. :blush It's not a bad predicament at all!

I must confess that just reading about these reactions has me smiling ear to ear ... and just wiggling my fingers here on the keypad .... I so love to tickle tease ... and was blessed with a voice which was pretty much created for such things .... naughty, perhaps ... but I do love to tease ... :wub
 
*shivers* agreed with Wolf, Moose-=that was wicked! >.< ; x) Only problem with tickle-talk online for me is that I'm usually *not* alone in the room, and I get called on my red face 😛
