Time Machine

Hey guys and gals. I just saw the episode of The big bang theory, again, where Leonard gets a time machine model from the movie. So I got to thinking, if time machines were real, and you had one, what time would you go to first in your past, and second, in your future? As for me, I would go back to when I was thirteen, which I think was about 1998 or 9, because that was a good year for me. Both my grandmas were still around, I was dating for the first time, I liked being with my friends at school. That was a good time. As for the future, I would fast foward about ten years, just to see how my life is gonna be. So folks, I hand it over to you............

I would go a few weeks into the future and get the lottery numbers to insure my financial security for life.
As for the past I don`t know I will have to give it further thought 😛7

I'd do only a future travel under certain circumstances, should I go to the past there's not much to be done.

I mean take into consideration if you'd like to relive your past you'd probably have a lot of questions to answer vis-a-vis two versions of yourself so that might end up with one of you having to end the other in order to avoid some sort of paradox.

Then comes in the old rule of time travel, messing with the past causing changes in the future. If there was a scenario I'd like to change I might end up altering who I am. And I may not be perfect but I would hate if I was dramatically changed.

About the future I would consider going a century ahead just as I gain bad health. I don't want the future spoiled for me but if I'm going to die anyways I'd like to know that we as a species managed to sustain ourselves.

as for me if i could have a travel in the past I would go back when i was 12 years old and my two best friends moved in the USA and I lost every contact with them to ask how I can track down them

for the future well simply I don't want because i want it as surprise ^^

I already have a plan to get a time machine:

Step 1:

Find time machine conveniently located in a place where I'd be sure to find it, complete with instructions on how to use it.

Step 2:

Go back in time to use my knowledge of the future and high interest bank accounts to get rich.

Step 3:

Travel far enough into the future to a point in time when time machines have been invented and buy a time machine.

Step 4:

Send the time machine I just bought back to the time and location where I found it.

I'd go back to my early childhood and do many things differently. Then fast forward to when I'm 30-35 to see how things changed.

So I'm assuming you've found your time machine? xD

As for me, I would probably go back in time when I was in my last year of highschool, and tell my past-self not to change schools, and to push hard to get into a local college at any cost. Also, to say yes to the first job offer, and not let a lack of self-confidence lead to a missed opportunity. That'll pretty much solve all of my current problems.

Then I'll go to future-hopping until they finally discover the cure for cancer, and then I'll buy as much as I can afford, and bring the cure back to the past to help a whole bunch of people I know avoid family tragedies.
