Timewarp's whole opinion in bit size chunks. BEGIN!
Okay. Portal came out from Valve. Great game. One annoyance. An object called a Weighted Companion Cube. Sure it didn't seem like much to me when I incinerated it in game and I was like..."Well, what's next"? But after looking up portal on deviant art...oh man. The companion cube was everywhere. And it's not just there. I typed it in google and there are so many many MANY websites with that cube I associated it as a cult following.
I mean it scares me for two reasons. One it doesn't exist in the first place. It's not real. And second, even in it's own world it's not alive...its just a box. I have never in my entire life seen a cult following for an object...let alone one that doesn't exist.
And that's my mini rant.
