Yeah...some people cross the line, well i'm about tear that line a whole new hole

So recently I read some terminally ill kid got a free ride from Blizzard. Now i'm not into WoW but this kid got a lvl 70 character, a cash lumpsum, a specially made epic weapon, his own quest, even Vo work. Now granted, if I didn't have much time left either I would want all I can get too. But really...is this fair? I mean what about the people who do live life...and experience all the shit a person has to go through, like bills, loneliness, a job, school...? Do they get something when they become ill?

Hell no, we give them an estimated period to live and a good luck. That just pisses me off. I believe in equality. Why isn't there a make a wish for adults foundation? I'd sure like to be given a free ride when given a 6 month period left.

And that's my mini rant.

(Timewarp's Rants: I just don't cross the line, I repaint it into a triangle)

The reason I have to disagree with you is just simply because... Well... Life is what you make it. Yes, there are bills, loneliness, jobs and school... But come on, man. How old are you? I would seriously assume you're older than 20. And as such, if you're complaining about these things, then you're not really experiencing all that truly is life. I have to pay bills, too. And I have a job that drains me to the core, and I also had to deal with 14 years of school and 2 years of University... Not to mention loneliness. (I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 19...)

But you know what? I love my life. I have fun, I go out, I enjoy myself. And I wake up in the morning, take a deep breath and look forward to what my future brings.

And as for the Foundation... Let me tell you something: if you are seriously getting all worked up over a dying kid getting goodies on a bloody computer game, then wow, man... Wow...

My mother was diagnosed with Breast cancer at the age of 32. She was diagnosed while she was pregnant with a child. The doctors gave her and my father a choice: abort the unborn child and receive Chemotherapy to save her life, or not get Chemo, give birth to the child, and then end up dead a few months later. My 14 year old sister should tell you what decision they made.

So there is a Make a Wish Foundation for adults. My mother's dying wish was for my sister to live her life. My mother did die, too. 8 months after my sister was born. My mother was 32 years old. 32. She payed bills, went to school, had a job, suffered through loneliness for a time, but you know what? She lived her life and she lived it well. And her DYING wish was for my sister to live!

So if there was a 5 year old or a 10 year old or whatever age a child was and he or she was contracted with a terminal disease that could not be cured and they wanted just a LITTLE BIT of what life would be like if they were able to LIVE IT... I say they should be allowed a lvl 70 character with a legendary weapon, because if he's suffering through this disease, chances are he isn't going to know what it's like to live... And that is NOT a good way to die.

Wow people think i'm serious?

I really need to add "satire" or "Parody" to the end of my threads
