I don't know about anybody else but the concept of rebilling your credit card monthly until you cancel really bothers me so I used to avoid that policy like the plague until I realized the following:
Cancelling doesn't close your account immediately. So you can cancel it on the frontend, right when you join.
So do the following, if you sign up for a recurring billing site immediately find the link to cancel it once you are in. The cancel usually goes thru a 3rd party like CCBill and you don't lose your site access privleges for the month or whatever you bought.
That way there's no forgetting to cancel it weeks later like I've done in the past. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious!
