this was written for a special someone...she knows who she is


I know i'm a screw up, you know it too.
I can't really help it, i'm hooked on you.
My emotions take hold, a burning sensation.
So here I tell everyone, in every world nation.
I met you on here, my life forever changed.
Though there's times that you think, that I'm deranged.
I'm sorry for bugging, for pestering constantly.
I'm ashamed of it, but hoping that possibly.
You will understand, that you will forgive me.
Because you know how I feel, I hope positively.
If it would be best, maybe just forget you.
But you know i've tried, i cannot forget who.
Told me her secrets, trusted me abroad.
Then I turned out to, be a pathetic fraud.
So again I say, from the bottom of my heart.
I'm sorry, my friend, please let's just restart.
This friendship, this knowledge, of the others true self.
Because you know what I mean, when I call for help.

That's easy for me to say since I have a gf who I adore and who adores me. It's hard for me to say, though, since she is currently residing a state away. It's easy for me to say, though, because I'm seeing her tomorrow.

And especially because I think fulfillment comes more from finding something rewarding and working hard at it. I think the guys who the most women want the most are the guys who are good at something, and who think what they're good at is the most important thing in the world. Then that's where you seek your vindication, and it's where you pour your energy, and you have some control over your own satisfaction for christ's sake.
Of course it sucks not to get any love, but you don't get love by asking politely for it. I don't mean to demand it, either, just to let it know its place, which is not to determine your worth or forgive you for your shortcomings. I think when you find something you love doing, and work hard at it, you get what you need from that, and lots of respect from others. Who needs to have something when you can do something? And posting on TT definitely doesn't count. Writing poetry is probably not the best avenue either.
Just my observation.
