Tk-flavored D&D via Bulletin Board, Need 1 More Player

I am about to start a bulletin-board based game of Dungeons & Dragons, located at the following Site: http://playbyweb.com. P-b-P roleplaying does tend to be slow, but it doesn't take up much time in a given day, and it allows for a great deal of descriptive creativity. I am using this game to help a couple of lovely ladies from the TMF learn the ropes of the current version of the game (one has been a longstanding gamer, the other is relatively new to roleplaying).

I'd like to add one more person, and if I am miraculously swamped by responses... and have difficulty choosing... I will add two, but absolutely no more than that. I've found out, in the past, that I'm simply no good with large groups... at least when I'm gaming on a message board.

Ideally, I seek a male player at this point, although that is hardly a primary concern; anyone with the ability and the interest is welcome. This will be a basic, homebrew Dungeons & Dragons adventure, with many published resources being viable options for creating and advancing one's Character. Potential players should have a working knowledge of D&D, be able to create a Character without assistance, etc.

Tickling will be involved, to some extent, thematically speaking. It isn't just that the Characters have a fetish; while the world Will Not Be Saturated with tickly vines, laughter-inducing magic, etc., tickling will be a more 'common' activity as far as romance... and punishment... are concerned. To a certain degree, 'how much' tickling influences the game will be left up to you... but the women who are already working on Characters are both very dedicated 'lees who are looking forward to having some fun (the request that the last player be male, comes from them directly).

I consider myself to be a skilled DM. I can promise that you'll have a good time, if you decide to give this a try; I have every intention of avoiding the silliness of an all-out "fetish orgy."

If you've got an understanding of the current version of the system, and are able to create a character unaided, you're more than welcome to join. Someone with a longstanding appreciation of D&D would certainly be nice to have on board 🙂

At this point in time, I only need one more male player. I may need a female replacement, however; one of the ladies hasn't been heard from since she requested to join. I added her immediately, she was online at the time, and I've seen her in the TMF chatroom since, but it's been several days now with no change to her profile in the game. The other female player has repeatedly expressed the desire to not be the only one, for a variety of (largely obvious) reasons.

Anyone is welcome to apply, directly; you don't have to let me know here. I put up the 'invitation only' notice at the site because I don't want random members of PlayByWeb, itself, applying. I'd rather not explain the whole 'tickling fetish' thing. I'm there to have light, casual fun gaming, not recruit to 'the scene' or put up with mockery.

Preference will be given to those with experience in the game, knowledge of and capability with the rules, and the possession of the actual Player's Handbook for D&D v.3.5. That said, these conditions seem to be in short supply, so I'm trying to be flexible in that area. The game site includes a link to a legit, hypertext version of the fundamentally necessary rules of the game, and then some; anyone with a little experience at roleplaying games ought to be able to figure out how to make a Character, etc. with minimal help, using this Site.

I have been interested in D&D for 10 years (Too bad they don't have that game in my country).
Well just give me two or three hours to get used too it and I am willing to compete with other candidates.

Also, I've only gotten one RTJ since I put this ad up, and whoever it was included nothing indicating who they were here, or what their experience with D&D is. Anyone who wants to RTJ is welcome to, but if I've got this many people looking to fill one slot, I'd appreciate a brief intro. You can shave all of my junk out of the form; I don't need to re-read my own anal whining 😉

How exactly is playing on the site handled? Depending on how it's scheduled, and my own time allowing, I might try and fill the empty female player slot. I've got quite a bit of experience playing DnD. 😉

It's play-by-post, so you take action as your schedule allows you to be there.

Typically, I am able to update 1-2 times daily, myself. I wait to do so until every Player has had a chance to post. If a day goes by and not everybody has posted, I will update if I've got posts and/or 'I can't make it today' type responses from the majority of the Players (I don't -expect- such notifications every time you miss a day, if such should happen; it's just a game and R/L takes precedence, after all).

I try to avoid updating if there's something dynamic going on between the players, until it's more or less spent. I'm not one to interrupt roleplaying 🙂

i'm new to the system, i so i put my whole bio including the little bit of past experience i have with d&d in the personal bio box.
