Hot.

2.) Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?

Tried to. I don't remember all of them because nothing worked. I'm still in the middle of one called Pulse (the original, not the remake). It's creepy, but still hasn't frightened me. There's this one scene so far though...all I could think of was how Jo would react.

I started laughing. 😀

Snickers ice cream bar.

I cup of coffee because that would be what my grandpappy would drink everytime after dinner. I do that because I want his spirit to know that I still remember those days and that I miss him.

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?

I gave my little sisters toys for their birthday, I think that was the last thing.

1.) What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?
It was perfect! On any other day, I'd be happy for rain, because it keeps me cool at work when I'm in and out of the truck runnin' around, but I wanted to make sure my son got some quality trick-or-treat time, and he hit the MOTHERLOAD!

2.) Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?
We watched Dawn of the Dead. Not for the whole month, just the other night. My wife loves the thought of a zombie apocalypse, and it makes me wanna play House of the Dead. Anybody notice that some of the most accurate shooters in movies are people in zombie movies who have no prior shooting experience?

3.) When you think of candy, what's the first product that pops into your head?
Reese's peanut butter cups! Duh! 😛

4.) Top 5 favorite scary movies?
If you mean "scary", I couldn't tell ya, because I haven't found horror movies to be scary since I was a kid, and the mind-fuck ones don't do it, either. If you just mean favorite in the genre, though, let's see...
1. Dawn of the Dead (the new one, with high-speed zombies)
2. The original Saw (the ending caught me off guard, which doesn't ever really happen.)
3. Poltergeist
4. Any Leprechaun movie before Leprechaun in Space They're not scary, just funny. I like Warwick Davis being a witty, evil little monster who says vulgar things in rhyme.
5. Any Nightmare on Elm Street movie, for similar reasons to why I like Leprechaun. Freddy Krueger may be a pedo, but he did say some funny shit! Also, the idea of being able to kill people while they're in the most vulnerable state of sleep, taking advantage of their fears, is pretty horrifying.

5.) Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]
Ugh... I'd hate to disrespect the classics. The Shining never did it for me. It's what I consider a "mind-fuck" horror. When I finally watched it, all the stupid imagery that was supposed to be considered scary just made me confused. I'm sorry, but I'm a geek. I want answers in my movie, and some sort of closure. After I finished that movie, I was left with nothing but questions, such as "WTF?" Out of these two, I'm gonna say Psycho, because that could actually HAPPEN. Hotels are scary enough for the modern day germaphobe who has to worry about bed bugs, semen/urine stained sheets, and horrible maid service (cleaning your glass after cleaning your toilet!). Throw in a tranny murderer, and that's definitely a scary experience!

6.) What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?
I dunno. Having a day to reflect on what I appreciate in life doesn't compel me to actually do it more than I already would, so I'm just gonna say... cranberry sauce?

7.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?
Anything you can throw brown gravy on.

8.) What is your opinion of Black Friday?
It's gonna be a LONG, HARD DAY at work that day! Added retail stops for the holidays, more bank business, shopping traffic... I just pray that nobody tries to do anything stupid to me or any of my coworkers that day.

9.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?
I seriously can't remember!

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?
I gave my son his first taste of egg nog with his breakfast this morning, and it's official. He's a fan! 😀

1.) What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?

It was very nice out. A slight crispiness to the air, but overall a perfect night to go trick-or-treating. (Or other mischief things. Lol.)

2.) Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?

I don't like watching scary movies because the images will stick in my head for days and it's hard to go to sleep when your head is full of images of blood and guts.

3.) When you think of candy, what's the first product that pops into your head?

Snickers! :bounce:

4.) Top 5 favorite scary movies?

None.

5.) Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]

I've never seen Psycho and I've only seen parts of The Shining, so neither. 😀

6.) What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Being with the family.

7.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?

Mashed potatoes & gravy! :yayzorz:

8.) What is your opinion of Black Friday?

The sales are great and all, but I don't think it's worth getting nearly trampled over to get.

9.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?

Don't really have a favorite. 😀

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?

When I returned from my trip to Ohio/Kentucky, I brought back a bag of tobacco and a camouflage hat with the Confederate flag and a deer on it for my boyfriend's dad, a shot glass and a keychain lighter holder for my boyfriend's dad's girlfriend, and a hat that says 'Shut up and fish' for my boyfriend. :bounce:

Oh how fun! This is a really good idea, Jo! 😀

1.) What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?

Pretty cold. :scared:

2.) Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?

Just two. Halloween and Thirteen Ghosts.

3.) When you think of candy, what's the first product that pops into your head?

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! :veryhappy:

4.) Top 5 favorite scary movies?

Oh gosh...I'm actually not a fan of scary films. =/

5.) Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]

How about neither? 😛

6.) What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Playing card games and Uno Attack with the family. Food kinda sucks, though. At least at my grandma's house it does.

7.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?

Mashed potatoes! ^-^

8.) What is your opinion of Black Friday?

Everyone is batshit insane! O___O It's ridiculous that some people actually get KILLED from being trampled by the feet of greedy people rushing to be the first to buy gifts. Why not just do all your shopping online? Haven't these ppl ever heard of pre-order?

9.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?

Hmm...Thanksgiving for me isn't as memorable as Christmas, but it was probably one of the Thanksgiving spent at my late paternal grandmother's house.

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?

A kiss on the cheek? 😀 :lover:

1.) What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?
60's, cloudy, and cloudy

If you count "Zombieland"

Nerds, yum.

Silence of the Lambs
The Exorcist
The Shining
Rosemary's Baby
Shaun of the Dead

5.) Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]
The Shining

6.) What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?
The four-day weekend.

7.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?
Turkey.

8.) What is your opinion of Black Friday?
It's crazy what some people will do for a half-price X Box.

9.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?
A couple years ago my family decided to do Thanksgiving with just the 4 of us, instead of going to random relatives in New Jersey. It was great.

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?[/QUOTE]
I gave my dog a kiss when I got home.

Love these, Jo 😀

What a fun thread! :woot: Great job, Jo! 🙂

1.) What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?

It was actually quite nice here! The wind and rain died down before dark and it was perfect fall weather for the trick or treaters 🙂

2.) Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?

I didn't get to watch that many, to be honest. I did watch the original Halloween though. I wanted to see Paranormal Activity, but not playiing here yet 🙁

3.) When you think of candy, what's the first product that pops into your head?

Mmmm... Mars bars 😀

4.) Top 5 favorite scary movies?

Halloween, The Shining, Psyco, The Birds and not really scary, but Silence of the Lambs

5.) Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]

Both are great, but Jack in The Shining was incredible 😀

6.) What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Well, it's already passed in Canada of course, but always nice to get together with family for that big turkey dinner

7.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?

Pass the stuffing, please!

8.) What is your opinion of Black Friday?

Never experienced it... but if it's anything like Boxing Day here, I'd prefer to stay home and recover from the night before 😀

9.) What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?

At the cottage, taking in the spectacular fall colours on the lake and the smell of homemade apple pie when coming in from the cold 🙂

10.) What is the last thing you've given someone?

I gave my little nephew chocolate bars for Halloween... his mom loved me for it! :bwahaha:

1.)What was the weather like in your area on Halloween Night?
It was awesome. 47 degrees, cool, like a Halloween night is supposed to be. It snowed 2 feet 3 days before, so we dodged a white spook night.

2.)Did you celebrate Halloween by watching any scary movies throughout the month? -- Which ones?
I chilled all day watching episodes of TAPS Ghost Hunters, doing nothing. It was awesome. I watch horror all the time though, because I loooove horror movies.

3.)When you think of candy, what's the first product that pops into your head?
Snickers. I don't know why. The words Halloween candy makes me think candy corn.

4.)Top 5 favorite scary movies?
1. A Nightmare on Elm Street
2. Poltergeist
3. Silence of the Lambs
4. Seven (not horror, but fits the bill)
5. I love the Dawn of the Dead remake

5.)Which do you prefer?: Psycho [[1960]] or The Shining [[1980]]
Tough call. The Shining originally as a kid, but today probably Psycho. Psycho still holds up today, while The Shining doesn't "to me", but it sure scared the shit out of me as a child.

6.)What's your favorite part of Thanksgiving?
Family, food, togetherness. Growing up it was always a time to see the whole family and just enjoy people.

7.)What is your favorite Thanksgiving day dish?
Rice dressing(may be more of a southern thing), cornbread dressing, baked ham.

8.)What is your opinion of Black Friday?
It serves a purpose. It's a stark reality that people's budgets are tight as hell around Christmas time, and there are some great deals to be had for those that put in the time to find them and go early. For sooo many others stores, they are just dropping their already too expensive prices to match normal ones. I give full props to those who take advantage of it to get some awesome deals, but its not for me. I hate stupid people too much to be in that close quarters with so many of them. I'd go postal. :jester:

9.)What is your favorite Thanksgiving memory?
All the really big ones, where every aunt and uncle got together at once. It happened so few times. To be able to see ALL of my cousins at one time was so awesome, especially looking back now, that the grandparents are all gone including a couple of cousins and an uncle.

10.)What is the last thing you've given someone?
Friendship

Great first TMI Tuesday JoJo. Awesome job!

Gave a friend my copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
