Janeane Garofalo, because she is just amazing and I think she and I kind of have the same sense of humor.

She has the read every sign she sees. She just doesn't shut up in general. We drove from VA to Ontario Canada, she did not stop talking the entire 15 hours.

I have a old, worn in (not ripped), very soft Cancun Mexico shirt I wear to bed pretty much every night (except for those nights I wash it of course). It is just so soft and feels comfortable...it is pretty much the only thing I can sleep in.

I was with 4 friends driving, across Minnesota. One of them (who should have stopped hours ago) kept driving...and fell asleep at the wheel. I awoke just as it hit the ditch on the side and started to roll. The funny thing about it, it rolled once...stopped on all four tires. I looked around...and everyone else (including the DRIVER) was still asleep. Bastards.

I like changing from pepper to salt. Oh, that isn't what you meant? Then I would choose Summer to Fall.

Politics. I make more sense to a lot of people than most others do.

So my first flight ever was to New York City and I stayed with Baldadonis. Wonderful weekend, he held a munch, CrystalLight, Brighteyes, and Snail Shell
also stayed at Dave's house, we saw NYC. Just epic weekend. Josh leaves early a.m., then Dave and I see the girls get to their buses on time, THEN... Dave takes me to JFK for my flight home. We get there 1.5 hours before my flight time and there is about 200-300 people waiting to get through security because they had ONE, yup 1, security line open...AT JFK!!

People were pissed, people were bitching, people were flat out missing their flights over this stupid shit. We wait hoping its gonna speed up, but it doesn't. Finally with 25 minutes to go before my plane takes off and still 200 people back in line, Dave says "fuck this, you are going to miss your flight". He goes around the entire line, straight up to security and tells the lady and I'm paraphrasing, "look I'm an attorney here in the city and one of my lawyers HAS to be at a deposition in Denver in the morning and he is about to miss his flight over your inability to operate a functional security line. This is a safety hazard to say the least, and falls on your shoulders to set up efficient security protocols...." Next thing I know, a slightly miffed security person comes up to me and says, "Sir, follow me immediately", and escorts me past 200 people to the front of the line, moves a velvet divider and sends me through while a LOT of people are mumbling and rumbling. We didn't get to hug goodbye or anything. He "Just said just go and have a safe flight brother!" The man was epic! Two years later, he still is.

Summer to fall, more on the fall side though. The mountainside going yellow and red for two weeks, the Aspens bursting with color, the epic weather. Love it!

Protection of the 2nd amendment. Since anti-gun coalitions have plenty of money to afford them time to spout their nonsense in place of facts, it'd be nice to say, "Really? Here are the actual FBI statistics printed publicly every year that completely contradict your rhetoric. I think we're done here."

As much as my current location is epic, I learned a lot growing up where I did and am happy for an adventurous youth.

ummm the ride home from this past NEST was particularly horrific. The turbulance on the flight was so freaking awful, then I had another 2 hour drive home on top of it and had to go STRAIGHT to a rehearsal. I was in no condition to do anything after NEST except cry.

my trip to the Albany gathering was amusing just because it was so spontaneous. I literally threw the only clean clothes I had in my suitcase, called venray, and started driving. It was the most reckless decision I've ever made, but that weekend changed my life 🙂.

I love the transition from fall to winter 😀...plus its close to Christmas, which is my favorite holiday hehehehe.

The only thing that has effected my family and friends drastically is the change in the economy...I have a few choice words I would like to make about it 😛.

I think my family moving to NC was the best thing we could have ever done for ME especially. It gave me so many performances opportunities I would have never thought of doing had I still lived in NY or Maine. If anything I would have liked to have grown up in a bigger city, but for the most part I'm satisfied with where I grew up. On the other hand...going to college in the same city I grew up in..not so much. I wish I could have gone to my same school just in a different city..even a different city in NC! It just sucks NEVER leaving...hense why the need to get away this summer is so dire.

As for Steve Martin as Inspector Clouseau, he captures some of the essence of myself - clumsy, the ability to injure himself without trying, but willing to do right. Sadly, my execution is only slightly better than his.

Oh yeah, I have plenty of these (New York City, Paris, Rolla Missouri, Abandoned in Florida). I'll pick Rolla Missouri

I was at the Chi Epsilon Convention in March 2006, where Chi Epsilon is the Civil Engineering Honor Society. The convention didn't feed me well, so I was sick, hungry, & only had $11 left with no ATM in sight. I called Papa John's figuring that if nothing else, I would try their food. I walked three miles to Papa John's, traveling partially along the historic Route 66 ("Life is an open road to me...")

As I was walking along at 830pm local time, practically everything was closed! Not only that, but I got the feeling that someone was stalking me.

I got to Papa John's at 10pm, ordered a large pizza & breadsticks, & had 11 cents left. I walked back to the hotel a different way to try to throw off the stalker(s).

Two blocks after Papa John's, I see a skateboarding gang. They saw me, so I figured that facing the known was better than facing the unknown. They asked me what I was doing, & I told them the truth. One of them whispered, "This guy walked over 3 miles for dinner! Leave this insane bastard alone."

After leaving them, a cop car started circling around, & I knew the stalker was a cop, & I realized what he thought: Asian guy, walking alone, looks like a terrorist. When I looked at the license plate after the 6th trip, the cop car turned sharply & drove off, & I never saw it again.

The change from fall to winter, but not because of snow. There is less smoking outside, the little bit of smoke is overshadowed by the cold, & any female feet that is willing to brave evening events exposed deserves admiration.

Anti-smoking, because smoking killed off my grandfathers & I believe it has a much larger harmful set of effects than most people realize.

Bullying too, because it took me a long time to overcome most of the effects of it.

Hmmm. The state is correct. I like New Jersey, I like not having to drive more than half an hour to get to most places. However, I would have chosen to start in Union from pre-k, rather than transferring to Union at the start of 4th. Fighting ostracism & bullying is just not fun.

I liked Richard Karn, John O'Hurley, & Richard Dawson. Dawson was the wittiest of the three, but I never warmed up to him kissing random women on the lips. O'Hurley, while often funny, just isn't as funny as Karn, & Karn does mess up a lot, which is just as funny as the contestants.
Speaking of the contestants, the contestants give some really funny & really bad answers on that show! I'm trying to figure out how to burn a DVD or audio collection of my saved episodes.

When I was in Paris, my 'nilla and I got separated from the group (of course) and ended up wandering around the bottom of the Eiffel Tower by ourselves (a huge no-no). We were approached by this Egyptian guy in his 40s and 2 other guys that were with him. He started asking me all kinds of questions about myself like where I was from and when I was going home. Finally he goes, "In a month, I come to America. We make marriage?" I was like, "Um..I'm 16. We're not making anything!" LOL I told my friends when we finally regrouped and they were upset I didn't "take one for the team" so they could all ride camels

Winter to spring is my favorite. Women in sandals and flip-flops appear.

I actually enjoy hearing what older folks have to say. Most of them have a lot of wisdom to share and they went through life without all of the technology and comforts that most of us enjoy today. I think a lot of people would benefit by learning how to simplify their lives....I know I would. I usually find that I'm fascinated by what they have to tell me.

Because I think she's a brilliant actress and could make my simple life look at least semi-exciting.

Fall into winter. Winter is my favorite season and it's Christmas time!

when i was in college and a basketcase, one new year's eve eve, a friend and i were cutting each others hair during the middle of the night. we decided on a whim to go to austin tx to visit my friend's friend for new year's. we packed clothes, $50 and a GALLON of martinis. we hit the road in the middle of the night without telling anyone. i'm not even sure he notified his friend that we were coming, since we got there about 9 hours later and his friend was nowhere to be found. we slept in the car till his friend got home. if i didn't know better, i would've thought that austin was a totally gay town. everyplace we went and everyone we encountered seemed to be gay. it wasn't my first experience being around gays, but it was my first experience being in a gay section of town where the grocery clerks, bookstore employees, etc and all the clubs were gay. we had a great new year's eve in a gay club except for one small thing. i had on a black sweater-like dress with no slip under (i don't think i've worn a slip in my life). the black lights at the club shone through my dress like an xray, putting my underwear on full display for all the gay men who cared less about seeing it 😉 we had a blast! when we arrived back in baton rouge a few days later (i was at lsu), all our friends who we had frightened were now pissed off at us because we had disappeared without telling anyone. (yes, there was a time before cell phones, lol). i guess we could have called from austin, but i don't think it even crossed our minds. remember, we had a GALLON of martinis with us!

first, i would've had different parents. since living in new england, i've appreciated being from new orleans. but given my druthers, i would have grown up in a place like boston, cambridge or even ann arbor to have access to better schools. despite having had a very successful career that i enjoyed prior to my car accident, with different parents and better schools, my life would probably have turned out quite different.
