I definitely reserve my trust until that person has earned it. I've had my trust broken by too many people, who are no longer in my life, and far too often to just give it out automatically. To some people we may be friends or good acquaintances but we are not truly friends until I can trust you, and with me that takes time and care.

I can't think of anything distressing other than possibly never realizing any of them.

Well, I guess so. I love foreplay as much as the next guy, but it gets to a point where you just want to fucking get down to the, well, fucking. As to what I do to get their attention, It really depends on the situation; I might go up and chat to them or do some awesome juggling in their general direction (allowing them to come up to me). In terms of how I act, I don't put on a front. If they like me for who I am, it means I don't have to keep up the façade.

I've become something of a cynic as time has gone on...I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but there's always a small nagging doubt at the back of my mind. Depends on the person though; I'd like to think I can read people fairly early on.
