Saw Book of Mormon on Broadway... two rows behind Oprah.

Giggling, hanging out at gatherings, practicing saxophone, conducting, playing Rock Band

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

OK so this weird and maybe TMI. I learned if I want to have a natural childbirth at home (I do) I should really get into amazing shape to reduce the chance of complications.

:bouncybou

8. How do you spend the majority of your free time?

Interneting or reading

9. What is something you're extremely picky about?

Music, I'm definitely a music snob

10. What is your favorite one-liner from a Book/Movie or Song?

"And they say goldfish have no memory, guess their lives are just mine, and the little plastic castle is a surprise every time." Ani Difranco

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?

I think I have the opposite problem - I can't stop confronting my own issues and can't let go of them.

1. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?

I wouldn't say holding on as much as letting go a little too slowly.

2. Have you done anything in the past week worth remembering? If so; what was it?

Yes!! I spent an incredible weekend with CrystalLight, Soda Bobinski and all my favorite PA locals eating delicious nomz, getting drunk and tormenting people I love :bubbleheart:

3. If you could create your own Comic Book character, who would you come up with?

We recently came up with Orange Man, played by Michael, and his trusty sidekick, Fruit Bowl, played by the Rhino

4. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

I don't know about THE nicest thing, but I tend to have the most appreciation for the smaller things. Buying expensive gifts and planning big surprises are nice, and I don't mean to take anything away from them. But the little, simple every day things that just let me know that someone was thinking about me are what mean the most. Things like that aren't really done for credit or so they can be pointed out later. They're just done out of sincere and honest appreciation for someone.

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Sims, talking to any combination of IFD+Rhino, Netflix

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

I'm learning that you really have to surround yourself with people who make you happy. I'm finding myself increasingly picky about who I spend my time with and energy on. I'm learning that giving people the benefit of the doubt over..and over..and over...and over...isn't necessarily a good thing, and that sometimes you just need to find a way to eliminate someone from your life, or at least significantly reduce their role in your life, in order to be the happiest and healthiest you can be.

7. Post an image that best represents your life currently.

I'll do ya one better...

Being a lazy asshole.

"Does he bite?"
"Lil' bit. Get in."
-- Something About Mary

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?

Anything that I get easily discouraged about. I'm a pretty upbeat person, but certain things just get me feeling crappy, and so I avoid thinking about them entirely, even to try and come up with a solution.

1. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?

A week ago today I was saying goodbye to some really awesome friends who came for the most fun weekend ever.

3. If you could create your own Comic Book character, who would you come up with?

A millionaire whose parents were murdered and now dresses in a cape and fights crime by night in Gothic City. His name is Captain Bat. I would publish my comic in China, where there is no such thing as copyright infringement.

Is it bad that I can't think of anything?

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?

1. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?

That's possible. Sometimes it's difficult to determine whether or not I've learned all I need to from a situation or a person before letting go. I'm trying learn faster whether I need to let go of something or not.

2. Have you done anything in the past week worth remembering? If so; what was it?

I've done too many memorable things in the last week to remember them all 😛

Family stuff of course (a pool was involved), and finishing a project for my side business, and starting a new big ass project that's gonna f*ck up my ability to get enough sleep until I'm done. 🙂.

3. If you could create your own Comic Book character, who would you come up with?

I dunno :idunno:. Let's see what my crazy imagination can come up with. She would have to have all the foxy sassiness of Pam Grier, with the killer instincts of Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill (and ability to take a lot of damage and survive...seriously, that woman was a beast :jester: ).

4. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

Every nice thing is the nicest thing in the moment it's happening, it's hard to weigh what thing is nicer than another. If I had to really pick, I'd say the nicest thing involves a couple of police officers helping me a couple of years ago. My life's been better ever since.

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Trying to write my poetry while listening to music. Also fiddling around with my website. Hours have been lost this way. 🙂

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

I don't know if this counts as learning something, but I feel I've learned to take chances on myself in recent years. I used to talk myself out of doing certain things because I assumed I wasn't ready to handle them, or that those things were better left to someone more experienced in life. Some major things in my life changed, and it helped me see how many things were possible to do that weren't before. Every chance I take on myself shows me what I'm really made of. I don't look for reasons not to do something, or reasons to be scared. I don't talk myself out of going for things. If I fail, I fucking fail, but it's a hell of a lot better than sitting on the sidelines like I used to do.

7. Post an image that best represents your life currently.

in front of me lies a pretty, brightly lit path, but I don't know where it leads...

dream.jpg

8. How do you spend the majority of your free time?

What's that?? :jester: F-r-e-e time?? What does one do with that? 😀

I spend it with family, with my headphones, or with a notebook and pen.

9. What is something you're extremely picky about?

My writing. I edit many, many times before I feel comfortable with a piece I've written. And even then I'm picking over every word or phrase.

10. What is your favorite one-liner from a Book/Movie or Song?

"If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut."-Hattori Honzo, sword-maker from Kill Bill.

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?

Frankly nothing. Life has graciously kicked me in my ass with any issues I've tried to avoid. There is no avoiding issues, they will re-occur with more intensity until you figure out how to deal with it.

1. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?

Interesting question because I've been watching Hoarder's as of late and find very small tendencies of them in myself. I am by no means a hoarder, but when they give reason for keeping things, I find the same reasons for myself. So within the last couple of weeks, I've let A LOT go that I would normally hang on to just in case. One thing I haven't let go of is cards people sent me. I have a small baggie in the closet where I've kept birthday cards and stuff like that.

2. Have you done anything in the past week worth remembering? If so; what was it?

This week has been a whirlwind of putting together some semblance of a decent place to live for when company comes over. I guess that's pretty memorable. 😀

3. If you could create your own Comic Book character, who would you come up with?

I would come up with a reluctant hero who loves to fight, but not for others.

4. What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

Friends and family do a LOT of friggin nice things for me. I'm not sure there's a 'nicest'.

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Drawing, reading, playing games, enjoying the company of my wives.

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

After watching Hoarders and learning about their tendencies, I have decided firmly to let go of things that no longer play a role in my life. And quickly.

7. Post an image that best represents your life currently.

woman-golden-field.jpg

8. How do you spend the majority of your free time?

Cleaning, playing games, doing some form of 'work'.

9. What is something you're extremely picky about?

When I'm cooking for someone, I don't like them to help. In fact, until I'm finished making the meal, I do not want them making any appearances in the kitchen.

10. What is your favorite one-liner from a Book/Movie or Song?

Um...neither of the things I post will be one liners, just fyi LOL:

Will you stay with me, will you be my love
Among the fields of barley
We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky
As we lie in the fields of gold

and

I spoke to you in cautious tones
You answered me with no pretense
And still I feel I said too much
My silence is my self defense

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?

I dunno...I confront almost anything nowadays. Maybe that one day people around me will die, and I know I won't be okay with it...so I refuse to think about what life would be like without them.

Oh , I've already come up w/several. 😀

My friends & family continually do nice things for me & save my ass from time to time.

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Readin' & fuckin'.

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

I've learned that running does wonders for my overall disposition.

A hybrid of Colossus and Nightcrawler, with a little of Deadpool's insanity mixed in for good measure.

5. Which activities make you lose track of time?

Video games, hands down.

6. What have you learned recently that has changed the way you live?

10. What is your favorite one-liner from a Book/Movie or Song?

God, this is a good question... Hate to be corny, but I'll go with Andy Dufresne in Shawshank

"Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

Bonus: What issues do you continually refuse to confront?[/QUOTE]

There are a couple of "boudoir" issues that I generally prefer to ignore, sadly.
