Dear fellow East Coast residents of the USA.

Stay safe and be sure your properly supplied. It looks like we're in for quite a ride this week. My mistress and I already have enough water, batteries, and food to supply a small 3rd world nation. Hope you all will be okay. Be prepared with FEMA's number and STAY OFF THE ROADS in case of a state of emergency (a friend of mine was caught in a flash flood while driving and nearly drowned along with his car).

There is still time to do some preparations.......Here's a list of what I've done (as well as my family):

1. Buy food.

2. Buy batteries

3. stock on candles.

4. If you can, cook some meals ahead of time. Makes no sense to have raw meat around if you can't cook it.

5. Do a load of laundry, if power goes out, at least you'll have clean clothes handy.

6. Take some bottles of spring water and freeze them. If you loose power, take some of them and place them in the refrigerator. It will help to keep your food cool.

My brother in law (from my brother's marriage) and his wife are missing. Dammit. DAMMIT. We TOLD HIM to evacuate! THEY BOTH were TOLD to evacuate! Sigh. They're on SSI and disability though and I suppose they were scarred they'd lose everything (the fact they BOTH have SCHIZOPHRENIA didn't help matters). Now their ENTIRE HOUSE (even the f'ing ROOF) is UNDERWATER and they're both NOT SHOWING UP on any of the shelter's online registers. We can't go in to help them. Fuck. Just...fucking hell...I really REALLY HOPE their both okay.

Yes, they're BOTH okay but thanks to my brother in law's decision NOT TO EVACUATE he put both HIS WIFE and HIMSELF through sheer and utter HELL (not to mention THE REST OF US). We're all very frustrated with him (especially his wife who is considering LEAVING HIM). He refuses to report the damage to FEMA or to contact Social Services or to do ANYTHING to HELP HIMSELF because he wants me and my brother's FATHER to take care of EVERYTHING FOR HIM (which my father refuses to do [our father will send him money and god he's sent him ALOT over the years but he WON'T baby him]). It doesn't help matters that the brother in law's BITCH OF A MOTHER married a younger man (WHO IS ALSO A COMPLETE SCOUNDREL) and has DISOWNED her own son (at her young husband's insistence). The whole situation is just F'ED UP! A schizophrenic man who refuses to help himself, a mother who is either senile or so dependent that she doesn't realize she's being used by a younger man, and a father (mine and my brother's) whose just fed up with the whole damn f'ing family!
