Apparently not! 🙁
This is basicly for those who attended the L.I. MUNCH on March 29th. I thought I was going to be there. I was planning to be there, but things don't always work out like we plan. q-ball, my brother, and mode of transportation, awoke that morning with chest pains. He is susceptible to blood clots, and the last time he had chest pains, they discovered some in his lungs. Not wanting to have him keel over behind the wheel on the trip there or back, or having to send him to a hospital, making me ask for someone to go out of their way to take me, my wheelchair, his wakler, and his truck, home, I decided it would be prudent to stay at home. My sister took him to the hospital later that day. The doctors checked him out, and, after gouging his Medicare, said he'd be fine. Nerves, I'm guessing. So, youse guys who made it, who were the special guests? Will there be a L.I. gathering? I hear Uniondale is lovely in the summer, with some nice hotels (and about a half an hour's drive from my place!)
Maybe we could take a taxi, eh? Also, not at all far from Nassau County Medical Center! Well, I thought I owed a bit of explination for anyone expecting to see me there. I'm sure it was a big hit, nonetheless. Maybe next time! (I hope, I hope, I hope!!!)
