I came out Bi this summer! My parents still don't believe me. When did you come out? Was there an interesting story behind it?
Me I just needed to have a talk with my Bi sister. I was getting turned on by girls. I had found girls attractive since high school. I talked to her about it and came out on my Facebook during the summer.

For me, it was after I have failed so many times at straight relationships. I officially came out of the perverbial "closet" a little bit more than six months ago, so pretty recently. I came out to a fellow gay friend of mine who had always had a bit of a crush on me. His answer to my inquiries was to kiss me....right there, entirely out of the blue. At first I resisted, but then I found myself pressing myself forward against him. We broke apart for a few moments, he smiled and I smiled in return before making out. True I was intoxicated at the time, but I realized my feelings were real. That it wasn't just the booze. And I'm happy to report that I've been sober for the past three months and I have my first official boyfriend, Bobby 😀

Yeah, I just recently came out as bi to my family and best friend, and I don't think my parents believe me either. My mom keeps saying stuff like "It's normal for straight women to be attracted to other women" and "You can't truly know if you're bi until you've slept with another woman", so I figure she thinks it's a phase or something.

I'm pretty scared to come out to anyone else. Even telling my best friend, who I tell everything to, was terrifying for me. I was worried that she'd think I had feelings for her, and that I'd lose her as a friend. She was totally accepting about it though.

I guess for me the word would be 'latent'. Kind of like this can't be happening but it is. I didn't realize it until two years ago, when it hit me that I was very attracted to a friend I've known my whole life, a girl who was in my wedding party (HE is long gone, thank God). It happened very quickly and we were together for 6 months when it casually ended. I'm in no hurry to get involved in another deep relationship right now so I have a kind of loose thing going with someone else. My feelings toward men haven't changed but I found out I like women just as much.
