Toon Clip New to Me

I thought I had seen it all, but this one is new and really good. The dialogue is in German, but the laughter is universal.

No, I have no idea what show it is from. Never seen anything like it before. I got the clip from a Yahoo group, but there was no indication there that I saw. I'm not even sure of the group right now. I could find it again if needed.

I posted this on TMF also and someone there translated it for me:

Girl: Nein, oh nein! Bitte bitte aufhören! Ich kann nicht mehr! (No, no! please please stop, i can't stand it anymore!)

Man: Oh! Wir werden aufhören keine Sorge! Und zwar sobald du mir gesagt hast, wo sich der "schwarze Gonduliere" versteckt hält. (Ok, we'll stop, after you tell us the hiding-place of the "schwarze Gonduliere" (name of a person))

Girl: Ich weiß es nicht, ich kenn ihn doch garnicht! (I don't know that! I don`t know him)

Man: Du lügst! Wenn dich diese sanfte Methode dich nicht zum reden bringt, dann sind wir gezwungen härtere Maßnahmen zu ergreifen! (You lie!! If you don`t talk now, we have to use harder techniques!)

i appreciate the post so please don't get mad at what I'm about to say... I'm only commenting on the production of the content:

what hideous animation. it's incredible to see how bad realtively modern animation is compared to say "bugs bunny" etc... when everything was drawn by hand and you can tell the production team really cared about the final product. It's quality etc...

Animation like this (the actual visual presentation) is embarrassingly terrible.

When I try to convert it to MPEG format, the smallest I get is over 6MB. However, I do have some vidcaps.

All I can say for my part that this is definitly taken from the "Kinderkanal", a German TV channel for children. Don't recognize the series, though.

The name of the series is The Adventures of Marco and Gina. The lee is Gina, not Tina. It's an Italian-made cartoon with the original name of Sopra i tetti di Venezia ("Over the Roofs of Venice").

And before anybody asks, I have no idea which episode the tickle torture is in or whether or not the series is out on dvd.
