I would have put Barefoot in the Park much higher on the lost...and NO...not becasue it has barefeet. 😛 I genuinly like that movei alot! It is so typical of many modern young couples. Two very different people who fall in love and try to make it work.

Aside from that, I TOTALLY agree with the top 10. A few of my all time favorites are lited there! Thanks for the reminder...I'll have to go rent a couple of them now!

Joby

I didn't see Miller's Crossing on there.

"Did you put in a good word for my brother?"
"No."
"What did you tell him?"
"I told him you were a ***** and he should leave you."

Momma mia, that's amore....well, maybe not, but it was a damn fine movie.

While not one for the standard "Chick-flick", there was one that stands out in my mind. I can't remember who was in it (nobody really huge), but it was called "Fall". It was about a cabbie and a supermodel who fall for each other. The neat twist on this one, is that it's the supermodel who has a hard time adjusting to the cabbie, and he's not all that terribly impressed with her celebrity. He doesn't go ga-ga just because she's a model, he doesn't change his way of life and doesn't feel bad about himself when he doesn't fit into her world. It's the model who does all the growing and learning in this one. It's refreshing to see men portrayed as having more about them then a set of hormones for a change.

Best line in that film : "I don't want you to leave Jack for me...I want you to leave him for you."

If you see this one around, rent it, it's pretty god.

What Evil Dead or Terminator didn't make the list. This is an outrage.
🙂

The first time I read the list I thought 'what's with all the romantic crap, where are the real movies?' until I went back up and read the title...😱

Evil Dead and Terminator are very romantic movies in their own way.😀

I saw that movie and there wasn't a single pair of bare feet in it! An outrage or what!!!!!

By the way, why do Americans say bare feet as one word? Barefoot yes, but bare feet are separate words surely?

My favourite romantic movie of all time is "Return To Two Moon Junction." It has plenty of bare feet shots in it too! 😀 😀 😀

There WERE bare--notice the space here--feet. The last scene, when Robert Redford is walking in the park in the dead of winter. He gave his coat away in exchange for a bottle and he's walking barefoot in the park! Silly..MEN'S feet count too!!!!!!!!!
Joby😛

BTW, Nice to see ya back!

ok, everyone can kick my ass if they want to, but i love a movie called "some kind of wonderful" ...... and also, "the princess bride" should have been much higher

just my opinion

"Wuvvvv....Twue wuvvvvv"

Bonnie and Clyde made this list? What's up Doc? KING KONG?

Where was Zefferrelli's Romeo & Juliet? Spellbound? Edward Scisserhands? A Night at the Opera? Or, for a stretch, Silence of the Lambs? "People will think we're in love....."

For that matter, where was Oklahoma? Carmen Jones? Pocahauntas?

King Kong! Indeed!

CASABLANCA... I'm just a sucker for old world heartache.

MOONSTRUCK... I'm just a Brooklyn Italian fool.

WILD AT HEART... I am cursed as such.:cool2:
