You can't think about gender when putting one of these thing together coastdude. At the moment we are doing munchs (people getting together for food drink and discution) and their is only one woman who is coming to them. First you have to focus on getting a core group together and build from their. Even if it is a groups of guys at first I wouldn't worry about it to much. If you start it they will come eventualy. Do like shell did, post a thread with the title "Vancouver Munch" then pick a spot that people can get together at and tell them to meet you their. The only thing is letting people know whp you are with out posting a picture of your face... assuming you aren't comfortable with showing your face on the forum.
