I have a clip in a folder i'm trying to delete from a folder...and a tempoary file after i burned it onto a disk. It's an .mov file and when i hit the delete button a note pops up saying i cannot because the clip is being used by another person or program and that's not true.It tells me to end the connection with whatever program whoever is using on it and try again...no one and nothing is using it but i can't delete it....any ideas???

This happened to me a while back.

Either close the folder and wait a while, or just reboot your computer, then you should be able to delete it.

Rebooting is the most certain way to resolve the problem. If it does not more advanced methods have to be tried (Unregistering the file, booting in safe mode, and so on). The likelihood of it being undeletable after a reboot is small, however.
