Trying To Paint The Perfect Picture?

Although I support the Golden Rule that has been placed on here I am hoping that the managers of this site are not going to censor things to a point where all you see is positive reactions to everything posted here. That would be a false reality. Constructive negativity should be welcomed, being down right nasty shouldn't and I agree with those who posted the Golden Rule.
Seeing that the thread was closed to post a response to it, I started this one.

You're right indeed, icebadger. We don't regard CONSTRUCTIVE criticism as negativity at all. The importance lies in the word CONSTRUCTIVE. 'This sucks' is destructive negativity; we all should try to describe WHY we criticize something. This is entirely possible without any expletives, personal attacks, or insults. But it's all explained in the Golden Rule; more specific guidelines will follow when the circumstances call for them.

We don't ask our members to see everything through pink glasses, but we definitely ask them to leave their jackknives and demolition hammers outside the TMF. 😉
